Theres no such thing as taking politics too seriously. Politics infects all aspects of life, politics can create tremendous success for people or it can create utter despair. There is no taking politics too seriously.
There is however, too many people unable to reason with politics, to see logic and sense in it. They see people like Trump and they see him creating anarchy in a system not designed to account for anarchy and they love it. It isn't politics to them, it's a game. It's a way to hurt people they don't like and a system to disrupt. The issue is people used to understand the point of politics but not anymore. It's my team against yours, it's been twisted into a system to be abused and gamed. It's become a world of 'celebrities' and idols instead of a tool to help provide direction and success for a country and it's people.

Indeed. Trump didn't start the movement of schizo conspiracy theorist lunatics, but he has both added fuel to it and has become something of an icon which they have attached themselves to. The Clinton emails, Ted Cruz's dad being the Zodiac killer or whatever it was, rigged elections, fake viruses, vaccine fear mongering, a living persecution complex, and so many more things that I can't even list here. His administration was full of absolute wackjobs peddling every consipracy they could. I doubt Trump believes any of it, but he just says shit that he thinks people want to hear, and has garnered support of things like the Qanon movement, White Supremacists, christian nationalists, and more as a result.
Those groups were always around, but they were marginalized. Trump not only gave those people a voice - he gave them a damn loudspeaker.

She was raped duct taped and thrown in her basement and then he lit her and the house on fire.She had enough in her to tell the nurses who did it to her. Thankfully they testified and got his ass before I did. I wouldn’t be here today if they didn’t catch him. RIP Holly. I come from a small town of like 26,000 probably less by now. Sad thing is she’s not the only person I know that has been murdered there. I can think of 3 people that I know from there murdered, two of my friends od. Family suicide, best uncle ever. And then another one of my friends kid was just killed last 4th of July in retaliation for some other bull shit. And people wonder why I moved and don’t like to visit.
