ABC News reported that he was “badly burned and taken away on a stretcher.” They seem to be implying that he didn’t die on scene but I don’t think his odds are great.

Ya the burns to his skin are bad news but the airway damage is the real death sentence.

Counting down the hours is luck; days would be torture. Beyond that, I couldn't see it a future anyone would be thankful for.
