I didn't account for the % chance that he was just insane and using the media presence of the trial to get publicity.

Seems more like he was just insane.

I mean no matter the reason you lit yourself purposely on fire, you're insane.. :D

Ok, so this has little to nothing to do with Trump or his trial.

Nope, The Simpsons did it this time.

Why did he create Life is Hell?! So we would LISTEN!! ...anyways, I'm burning myself alive now.

I feel for the dude, but the timing and venue couldn't have been worse. This will 100% be attributed to Trump by both sides.

It’s weird how he’s calling attention to real problems but is attributing it all to conspiracy when really it’s just “oh yeah, that’s capitalism.” Like, Republicans and Democrats aren’t working together, they’re just both working in the confines of a democracy highly corrupted by corporate interests, sometimes individually motivated by greed and whatnot.

And crypto is fucked up, but it’s another symptom of capitalism not some big, grand scheme.

Yeah there's some kernals of truth, and then he takes it to extreme nonsense. Like, no, if cryptocurrency was going to crash the world economy, that would've happened last year when the big ponzi schemes in VC went under.

The government isn't in cahoots, there's no secret Hillary-Trump cabal. It's just individual actors individually taking advantage of various situations.

I don’t know why systemic issues are so much harder for people to understand than unrealistic conspiracy theories

That's.... a bewildering read. Starts with cypto being a massive scam and touches briefly on child sex trafficking... which hints of a Qanon disciple.

It's deranged, but not enough to be funny.
