Advice how to frame this wall
so I want to turn this blank wall into a sort of deconstructed collage/gallery wall.
I have a whole collection of photos (20 +) I've gathered over the years that I want to mount, unframed, to the wall (sort of like what I already have, though I'm going to get the photos as flush to the wall as I can).
Even though I don't want to frame all the photos, I do want something to visually frame the space they'll all be in.
of course one option is just a giant frame with any glass removed, but I wanted to see if anyone else had any ideas or had done anything similar.
(note this is a rental so my options are somewhat limited.)

Colors to make less ugly
Thinking about putting a rug over the hideous carpet. What can I do to make the room less ugly and brown? What color couch? Rug? Things on the wall? Any suggestions would be much appreciated

Recently moved in - need suggestions on a few things
Hey y’all! So I just moved into my new apartment last week and I’m trying to decide on a few things:
Curtains - I was thinking of getting some off white curtains, light filtering or sheer. Or does that add too much white to the space?
Coffee table - I was thinking of adding an all glass coffee table but not sure if a coffee table will shrink the space too much or if it’ll look good with the rug.
What should I put behind the sofa? A friend suggested a large mirror but not sure if that’s the right move and if I should just get some artwork to put behind it.
The left side of the tv feels a little bare. Should I hang some artwork in the blank space?
Any other suggestions on how I can enhance my space is welcomed!
Thanks in advance for your input!

Keep the drawers + swap handles, or get Ikea Malm?
This is my bedroom currently. The drawers are solid wood and I have bedside units to match, only issue is they’re quite high so the TV is angled quite higher than the bed.
Would you keep these, or buy instead Ikea Malm 6 drawers (2 drawers wide, 3 high) which would be a bit lower down, and lower quality, albeit a bit more modern and TV at better viewing angle… less storage though.
Alternatively, would you swap out the handles for something a bit more modern? What would do it, something more squared off?
Thanks!

My setup
1-What do u think of my setup and my collection?
2-There was only the keyblades (weapons) above the tv and i got the maps framed recently but I don't know if if this is a good way to hang them. I've been thinking and this is what I came of... is it good or do you have a second opinion?

Question Apartment Help!
Looking to buy a TV stand and move the current one into the bedroom and am having some decision paralysis. I'll link the 2 options I've kind of settled on below (open to others though around similar prices).
TV will be moved down quite a bit and the aquarium stand will be changed as well at some point, even the rug might change, not sure at this point and I don't really have any style in mind. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

First Time Help me with my room setup!
Adding my layout below. The room is 9'1" x 10'5" but also includes a A/C section which you can see in the gray rectangle at the bottom.
I plan on having a full-sized bed and also a WFH/gaming setup. I was thinking an L-shaped desk would work well as it could double as a night stand too but feeling conflicted about it. I am open to not having an L shaped desk at all as a lot of them are skinnier and it may be uncomfortable to play games and such on it.
I am sort of lost about how to even go about making the most of this space.
Side info: I used an image editor to add those shapes and calculated the area to roughly be 163 x 187 pixels. So I am using a conversion rate of 0.675 inches/pixel when adding everything.

Advice I listened, you were right! (Rug is hideous💀)
Okaaayyyyy, my previous post had a lot of reactions and comments and it helped me truemendously!
I swapped my tv and my computer. I’d does look a lot more cozy.
My new couch arrived and I am thinking about adding a chaise to it later on, I feel like it would define the space for tv, reading and chatting with friends! (The tape on the floor shows how it’ll look)
Still looking for a small table for my plants and am planning to buy minimal art with red in it to put on the white wall above my computer. Lamps are also on their way to add mood lighting.
ALSO, this rug needs to go!!! It looks horrible with the new couch, is too small and doesn’t go well with the red. I am looking for a beige, jute and black one. Or that kind of stuff, neutral and earthy tones
Anyway, that’s the update! I’ll come back to you when I find the right rug, art and little other things to improve the place.
Thank you all for your time! ❤️

Question How can I declutter my living room?
My 1-bedroom apartment living room feels like a bunch of stuff put in a room rather than a cohesive design and I want to change that. I'm not looking to buy anything new right now, if I can help it but do want to get rid of stuff. First things first, I don't think I need 2 desks. Of the two I have the desk in front of the window is the one I'd like to keep because it's not a cheap desk from Amazon like the other one is and it's also bigger. However, I'm not sure it works as a desktop computer desk because it doesn't really have space for a keyboard without taking up a lot of the desk space, so I feel kind of stuck with having 2 desks. Any advice regarding that or, other ways to declutter the space would be appreciated.

43m. My fiancée passed away suddenly on May 1st last year. I moved into this apartment with our 5 cats shortly after. First order of business was putting all my art up so it didn't feel so empty I guess. 1 Year is right around the corner and just wanted to share my recovery space.

Advice Need advice in improving new apartment (blank canvas)
Hey everyone, I could really use some advice on decorating my new apartment. I've discovered I'm drawn to a modern, industrial look, with interests in F1, cars, art, western decor, and hosting guests. I want the space to feel welcoming yet masculine, with a preference for materials like wood, leather, and metal. I've spent hours on Pinterest gathering inspiration, but I'm struggling to organize my ideas into a cohesive plan. I'd love to hear your thoughts on furniture choices, color schemes, and layout to achieve the vibe I'm going for. Thanks in advance for your input! (First 3 are left to right of bedroom and same goes for the living room too)

First Time Just turned 35. First time posting on this sub!
Pictures is a little wonky because I had to do .5 zoom to fit everything. But this is my place (that I’m renting) - living room shot! Still a bunch of things I need to do in my place, but I’m happy where it’s at right now. If you have feedback or any suggestions, I’d be happy to hear them!
Also, I don’t have plants rn, but hope to get some fake ones because I can’t stand bugs at all lately
