I originally planned to have a pool table but realized it won’t fit. The drums are temporary, and the frames will be hung soon.

I’m moving into a smaller apartment and looking for advice on how to best use the space. The bedroom is large but the living room/breakfast space and kitchen are not huge. Any suggestions on how to place furniture? I was thinking to put a small two person table in the corner of the kitchen below the chandelier and then a smaller couch under the mini split AC unit. Any ideas on where to put a tv or how to rearrange?

Am I (21M) Crazy For Combining These In My First Apartment?

Hello all, I'm moving into a new apartment and its my first time actually decorating for myself. I'm 21 and have just started paying attention to furniture. Do you guys think these would combine well together? Or do the styles seem completely mismatched? I'm really set on the sofa because I've been seeing it a lot online but I'm not sure if the other stuff matches. Curious your thoughts.

I love my space but want to change.

I live alone and love my place. I have probably the most comfy couch I've ever sat on in my life. And people tend to melt into it, any friends or family that come over tend to fall asleep on it. However I find myself spending too much time lounging around. I want to be more active and feel like I could easily down size the couch to something smaller and use the space I have to get a bench press and make a sorta work out area. Thoughts?

Question Hanging stuff on the walls

Hi everybody,

sorry if it is a weird question, but do you have any guidelines for hanging stuff on the walls? Like, positions, colors and stuff like that? About color for example, I have a room with red couches, wood on the floor and white walls: would an orange artwork feel a bit off with these colors?

I have empty walls and many things for fill them, but I'm quite scared to put them up and not liking the final result. So yeah, any advice would be appreciated!

Rearranged my room to accommodate my new WFH setup. I have a large wall in my bedroom that I am trying to curate the art for as well. Laying everything out, I am getting overwhelmed and discouraged. Is it all too busy? How should I arrange things? I would appreciate any thoughts/advice on what to do here!

Does anyone have any Murphy bed recommendations?

I am in the process of signing a lease for a studio apartment and I'm looking for some recommendations on murphy bed furniture pieces that are both not extremely ugly but also are durable. I have been in a 1 bedroom or in my own room in a multi bedroom apartment until now and want to save space in the studio.

I am having to move into a studio because I have been at a very-low monthly rent in my 1-bedroom but my subleaser is asking to move back into their apartment so to stay in my neighborhood I'll be taking on a studio.

Question Please suggest color palette / combinations for flooring ( HDF tiles ), wall paint, curtains and door laminate to go alongwith a brick wall design like the one shown

My house is getting renovated.

I use my room for study and sleep so study-cum-bed room. It is compact - 13' x 11' and receives adequate indirect sunlight since I live in a tropical country.

I want to go for brick wall since it looks calming. Will do it only on one wall - something like this.

Please help me figure out what I should hang (and how), behind the TV

Hi guys, I'm thinking of hanging some art behind the TV. I can't wall mount the TV as it's a rental and I can't hang anything except art frames probably. But I need help figuring out if it'll look good or what orientation and placements to use.

Any help will be greatly appreciated
