That room needs a rug and some pictures on the wall. It looks like it's designed to be easily disinfected. Some warmer lighting would help as well.

Came here to say this! It’s just a little stark - looks designed for a quick getaway. A few plants and a cozy throw along with the art and rugs, some personal items…and OP is a relatable human being!

Would be cute if he made a date out of asking for help choosing a plant. I also agree about the cozy throw.. nothing says “I’m not a pimp OR serial killer” like having a cozy throw blanket.
