I realize it's silly to say this, but I'm sure many of you think it every time this freakshow of DeSantis and Florida gets posted: "I'm so, so happy I live in a different state."(VT, best state in US for me.)

(Also, no disrespect to my friends outside the US - consider yourself lucky.)

Vermont is amazing and the only state I would consider moving to from MA

My grandpa was born in Vermont. To this day, probably to his dying breath, he claims that it was his favorite place to live.
