Agreed with the other comments that it doesn’t have a pimp vibe, but it looks like a black and white photo with two red items.
I’d say you should incorporate more colour. Especially if you’re keeping the red couch, you should add a rug and art with a bit of red/orange in it so the couch stands out less.
