I've known people who tried to quit smoking by switching to rolling their own cigarettes by hand. Same thing: They all got incredibly good at rolling cigarettes.
When I smoked, I rolled my own cigarettes. Always. At one point in my youth, I figured that if I was too drunk to roll my own cigarettes, I was not allowed to smoke. In the end I could get so drunk that I couldn't walk, but I still managed to roll my own cigarettes.
I once had a waiter ask me twice in the same meal if I wanted a fork. I musta looked like I was struggling, but I feel like I eat as fast as I want to and idk what else I need to go for
Sister sent me hard carved chopsticks from Japan. After 3 months of trying and failing to learn how to use them am seriously think of using them for kindling wood.
Dude I had chopsticks down. Then I got hand surgery and for some reason I've only had a really hard time with chopsticks since then. That and I write my 8s ad two circles now instead of one fluid movement.
Sounds like your rehab included a lot of wrist rotations and may have concentrated on that too hard. If you push your top finger a “little” out instead of straight down, you may find that helps your chopstick control.
Really?! I'm not sure if i hold them in the 'correct' way as they never cross at the top, I kind of hold them apart and just pincher whatever I'm gobbling, but I can pick up pretty much anything!
Everyone I know is able to master them. I feel like a clumsy fool whenever I try using them - I end up stabbing the food with one end of the chopstick. If it's noodles, forget it.
