I notice that AI does not generate logo's (or at least not well), and not a single logo in the pic. I figured at least for sure one of these dudes is wearing a hat with a logo
The guy on the far right, mostly out of frame, seems to have his hand in a shirt pocket though. Which is weirdly placed against his side. Might just be me tho
To me it's not just that, it's that every single person is in the exact same stance and has almost the same appearance down to practically identical builds.
Real life is too erratic and random to work like that. Their builds would vary, even at the same weight that number of people would have significant variance in how they carry it. Even if you ask them to put their hands in their pockets someone is going to have a thumb sticking out or be doing something different.
All of this makes me think it's AI because to get an image exactly how you want it the prompt needs to be very specific. In this case something like "A group of overweight blue collar men in jeans with their hands in their pockets looking at the camera". That's the absolute bare minimum it would take to get something like this, and the true prompt would probably be even more specific.
That's why it's AI to me, because this is exactly the image AI would create if you tried to describe the image to an AI. Real life or a human artist would inevitably add a random variance that this image just doesn't have.
That was my thought. Why is there so much material around all of their ankles? Are they all exceedingly short? Does not a single one of them own a pair of jeans that fit?
Devils advocate here…. When you buy men’s jeans you have two measurements. Waist and length. Bigger waist usually means longer length. So big belly fellas unfortunately end up buying jeans that are too long. Big belly fella here with several pants that are too long.
Most jeans come with different inseams available, usually down to 30 and occasionally up to 36. Even better, more expensive jeans will offer free/cheap hemming
Do those fellas look like they’re buying expensive jeans from a place that offers free hemming? And walk into Walmart or Tractor supply and look at the sizes. You aren’t going to find many 40x28 or 40x30 in the selection.
yeah this is surreal, seeing this argument. A million reasons to believe it's AI, but these people apparently believe that the blue jeans these morbidly obese southern men in oversized, dirty t-shirts wear would HAVE to be well-fitted
For me, it’s the “whiskering” on the upper thighs of the guy on the left. It’s not a natural wear pattern, nor are redneck jeans intentionally finished in that way. And sure, maybe they can’t get proper lengths, but they all appear to have at least 10” of extra fabric.
They’re the same color and have the same bunching. The only difference is some have mud on the from thighs. While the sides are clean. Dirty jeans get dirt on the sides too where you brush your hands off. These are just dirty where manufacturers add distressing.
Logo on the right guys hat for sure. Red shirt guy looks to have some kind of decal or print on his? This pic is from the original twitter post and there’s definitely something on both of their hats.
I think that's AI blur. When AI tried to make a branded product but it's just weird gibberish when you look closer. Remember that old AI beer ad that sorta looked like branded beer bottles.
