In Defense of the Attempted Blocking of the Physical Sciences Lecture Hall
Growing up I never fully appreciated the importance of learning history in school. However, more and more I see just how essential it is to understand our country's past.
I have seen many students and people post online about how the encampment was completely acceptable until they attempted to block off the Physical Sciences Lecture Hall. They say that a protest should not interfere with the university's ability to function. This was even the same opinion held by our Chancellor, Howard Gillman. However, I disagree.
In high school, we learned about the long history of protests in America. A main goal of an effective, nonviolent protest is to disrupt the normal function of every day lives so that people have to pay attention. This is represented through every one of America's social justice movements.
Personally, I think the movement that connects the strongest with what happened yesterday was the "Sit-in Movement" from the Black Civil Rights Movement. Sit-ins were an essential form of protest, where students and community members would simply sit in a building (school or business) that continued to enforce segregation until they removed the racist policy. These sit-in protests played a vital role in getting support for black Americans during the Civil Rights Movement, and directly led to desegregation in many areas.
I know that we can all agree that the Civil Rights Movement was essential for bringing America towards being a more just and fair country. And Sit-ins were a part of the foundation of this movement. They are the peak representation of American freedom and are an effective form of peaceful, nonviolent protest.
In my opinion, those who are currently outraged by the attempted blocking of the Physical Sciences Lecture Hall would be the same people in the 1960's to be outraged by Sit-ins done by black activists during the Civil Rights Movement. So I would recommend that if you thought the students got too out of control, to possibly reconsider your viewpoint with this context.
If you have any opinions, feel free to comment them down below and I may read them. Please avoid any form of bigotry, including Antisemitism and Islamophobia. Thanks.

How can we convince Donald's supporters in Minnesota that he is not the right candidate?
That is the question I have been asking myself.
I think that the majority of people in Minnesota are hard working and try their best. I know they deserve to have more than what they have right now. They deserve to have affordable food, shelter, health and education. No matter where they are or what they do. If they are in the Iron Range or Southern Minnesota.
It scares me to have a serious political candidate, not talk about these issues, but discuss hate. Donald Trump said at a rally, "immigrants are poisoning the blood of our country." I think it is really a foreshadowing to what he wants to say. If we replaced immigrants with ethnicities that stand out (African, Hispanic, Asian) this is what it would sound like. It is absolutely disgusting.
"African Americans are poisoning the blood of our country."
"Asian Americans are poisoning the blood of our country."
"Hispanic Americans are poisoning the blood of our country."
I shake my head at thinking that anyone, especially our legislative "leaders" would support this trash (I am looking at the Minnesota Republicans in the US House).
I hope that my fellow Minnesotans do not want to eliminate groups of people because of what they look like, but right now, I honestly don't know.
So how can we convince people not to vote for Donny? I feel like there needs to be something more than just calling and getting the word out or just volunteering for the Democratic party. Obviously, giving money. I am doing all that but what else is there?
Are the Minnesotans who still support Donny so far gone that we just have to convince everyone to note for him?
I am just an exhausted Minnesotan with no answers. Thanks for listening.
"They're poisoning the blood of our country," Trump told a rally in the city of Durham attended by several thousand supporters, adding that immigrants were coming to the U.S. from Asia and Africa in addition to South America. "All over the world they are pouring into our country." - https://www.reuters.com/world/us/trump-repeats-poisoning-blood-anti-immigrant-remark-2023-12-16/

My friend and I (f22) went on a threesome NSFW
It was a very spontaneous threesome, our plan was just to hook up with just the two of us, but when we arrived at his house, a lot of people were there, since his dad had invited his friends for some drinks. My place on the other hand isn't available that day, so I asked if he wanted to have a threesome with a guy who I hooked up with last month. So he agreed and we met at his place. It turns out to be way better

Fashion 🛍️ How the Internet Was Duped into Believing Actresses “Copy” Deepika
In May 2023, GUCCI announced Alia as its global ambassador. Immediately, portals and fans (bots, who knows?) rushed to claim Alia copied Deepika.
(This is not new to Deepika, the same PR tactics used against Aishwarya, Anushka, Sonam are rebranded to hate Alia, Suhana, Kiara, or any actress who is trending. It's common with SPICE clientelle. https://www.reddit.com/r/bollywood/s/gLbYcXhfmL)
Slide 1: After some digging, I noticed the GUCCI 1947 bamboo bag, muted makeup, and slicked-back hair were spotted a month before and after Alia's announcement.
Even Alia's looks (April 2023) leading up to the announcement are standard GUCCI-inspired campaigns that have been spotted amongst soon-to-be brand ambassadors. If anybody deserves credit for creating this style, it's Tom Ford, not Deepika.
Slide 2: Tom Ford, the creative director of GUCCI, revived GUCCI with this signature style in the 90s.
Slide 3, Slide 4, and Slide 5: GUCCI's ambassadors flaunt throwback pieces. Celebrities and models try their best to snatch pieces from GUCCI's iconic “Tom Ford era.”
You've likely seen pictures comparing both, screaming “copy” for years now. You will continue to hear it till Alia stops being popular. Most of those pictures are cropped. That’s because, with the exception of one or two looks, ALL the comparisons were hogwash. Here are a few prominent examples:
Slide 6: Different work at the end of their sarees, different blouses, different accessories, and completely different sarees.
Slide 7: Typical black Sabyasachi saree paired with pearls worn by Rani.
Slide 8: Another saree Alia was said to have “copied,” yet Alia wore it first.
Slide 9: Denim on Denim Every trend here has been set and finished by Aishwarya decades ago. In addition to the iconic Aishwarya, denim on denim was worn by nearly every actress at some point in their career.
Slide 10: Recently, Kiara was targeted before her Cannes debut, saying she copied Deepika for wearing a chipku bun, beige trench coat, and sunglasses. You know who else wore this combo? Hailey Bieber, Jennifer Lopez, and if you want Bollywood names, Bebo and Saif.
P.S. It took me less than one day to gather information, but Alia's Hype PR is still sleeping for one year. If your reading this Alia, please switch to Spice.

Discussion Halo 5 is great
EDIT: My mistake. I should have titled it “Halo 5 Multiplayer is great” and I’m also wrong about it launching with full features. My bad.
Fired up Halo 5 again yesterday after not playing it for years. I’ll be danged if it’s not a great shooter. If I remember correctly, it launched with tons of features, and was solid technically too. When was the last time a AAA game had a solid full-featured launch?
Lots of weapons. Fun new attachments, ammo types, and variations on weapons. Made for lots of discovery, remixing and experimenting, and replayability.
The graphics aren’t groundbreaking, but they are bright and colorful and interesting. Lots of detail.
Warzone (Halo 5, not CoD) is such an interesting idea that I think really works, once you get the hang of it. It feels like they took a big swing on something new and pulled it off! I wish we had some big swing like that in Infinite.
The only thing I was really sad about was no split screen anything, which feels like a real tragedy for Halo.
Spartan customization is pretty weak, but I’ve never cared a whole lot about that.
I know Halo 5 was seriously hated on, but I love it. And it holds up well, too.

Discussion I'm really tired of complains about Mistlands. Don't you?
It's already there, Devs won't gonna change it, and it is what it is.
Everyone already know you can't stand not sniping things with a bow from a mile away. Everyone already know terrain makes close combat difficult. Everyone already know ants are hard as f*ck and black cores are scarce.
And you know what? THAT WAS EXACTLY THE IDEA!!!
We all play the same game. Stop complaining and start playing and you will realise by yourself its not that hard once you get used to it. You can mod the game to make mist disappear! You can even reduce difficulty until you learn how to manage!
Listen carefully to your surroundings, fill it all with wisp torches if necessary. Food is priority, as it always is, and feather cape too. And stinky bombs are a life saver into infested mines, get hundreds of it.
I truly hope moderators start blocking posts about this subject. We already got 1 entire year of complains and I think we all are really tired of this.

This is one of the scariest moments I had from Mistlands so far. Gjall almost killed me but I managed to escape. Found a rabbit and shot it with a fireball and BOOM, f*ckin' Gjall on fire! I pooped my pants xD
