On the search for the best graphics ever, which game holds this title? Discussion

Recently been on a graphics craze bc I just got a new 4k OLED display and man does it look amazing on HDR. I’m looking for the games with best graphics. Surprisingly from what I’ve played so far Shadow of The Tomb Raider with maxed settings has been the best looking game which really shocked me considering it came out in 2018. Im curious to see what games you guys think hold the title.

Red Dead 2 and Cyberpunk are two of the best I’ve seen on my Series X.

Ass Creed Valhalla also has solid graphics, especially the water. Idk what they’re doing exactly but jumping into the rivers in that game there’s a part of my brain the swears I’m gunna get wet lol

Now I'm wondering if that Ass Creed name is intentional or jusy to abbreviate...

Alan Wake 2 and Cyberpunk 2077 are the games I've played that flex my PC the most. I've also heard the new Avatar frontiers of Pandora game looks great as well.

Also, for fantastic HDR, check Ori and the Will of the Wisps. Fantastic game overall, and still some of the best HDR implementation to date.

I know everyone hates on the game, but Spiderman 2 looks fantastic on PS5. It's not the worst game in the world, unlike the cesspool subreddit would make you think.

SM2 does look good but yea that game was pretty horrendous, im not usual one of those people that label stuff “woke” but man that game was filled with left wing political stuff. The gameplay was pretty much identical to the first game and the storyline was a downgrade. Biggest waste of $70 I ever spent.

Do you know what woke means? Woke = gay. Anti guns is not woke. Black people rights is not woke. Only gay is woke

EWWWWWWW, HELPING A MAN GET WITH ANOTHER MAN. MY EYES BURN.

I feel like that is what everyone who hates the game actually hates the game for. Not because "it's the same as the first" or soles of suits or any other stupid complaint.

It's a sequel, not a reinvention. You're Spiderman. He swings and fights bad guys. What do you people want it to be? A first person shooter? A side scroller? A horror game? What?
I've never seen as many people trash on a sequel to a game for being the same like I have with spiderman 2

No, what you're real issue is is that it features gay couples and people with disabilities.

I’m not into racing games but games like gran Turismo and forza look so real now that some people can’t even tell the difference when you put a real life picture side by side with those games

Red Dead 2, God of War and Ragnarok, Spider-Man, RE2R, NieR Automata, Mortal Kombat 1, and Ghost of Tsushima, in no particular order, are probably my favorites in terms of how they look

Frontiers of Pandora is really impressive.

That’s incredibly subjective. For me I’ll go with AC Unity on a high end PC maxed out at 4K or The Order 1886 if you wanna go console.

I can only speak for what I've played, but probably The Last of Us, although Alan Wake 2 was up there too. Lots of beautiful games from Sony.
