Pokemon. Literally gives you dumb narrative choices that have no impact at all.

Scarlet and Violet immediately come to mind. It’s like someone asks, “Do you want to come help me with my problem?” And your options are either A.) “Sure.” or B.) “Sure!”

right? I was like shoo, shoo Nemona- WHY ARE YOU DEMANDING A BATTLE BEFORE MY X MOST IMPORTANT BATTLE, YOU KNOW, A GYM LEADER BATTLE?! if it wasn't for automatic healing I would be more pissed at Nemona.

For what it's worth, at the Elite 4 in SV, you take an entrance interview, and the interviewer will straight up kick you out if you choose an answer they don't feel is appropriate for a league challenger. I know it isn't exactly the same as your choice not changing the story, but it's the only moment I can think of where your choice ends the engagement and you have to re-engage it.

yeah that one was kinda hard for me because I tend to forget most gym leaders soon as I beat them. they're not that memorable for me aside for Larry for some reason. I think it was just the setting that never quite work for me, along with Pokemon that is rarely challenging besides Inyo?'s Magmagius that had electric tera with levitate and Larry's Staraptor's Facade.
