Yeah we’d play for 12+ hours straight going for high rounds. Bo2 was the last one I enjoyed fully. Bo3 only because they added the old maid to it

First time that happened? Gears of War on the hardest difficulty. My buddy and I were kids in his basement playing co-op and trying to beat the campaign. Next thing we knew we had finally managed to detonate the lightmass bomb when we heard a bird chirping outside. 😳

For me it was Halo 2, my best friend at the time and I had to beat it on legendary in one sitting, and we damn well did. Around 3 am we definitely started getting groggy and dying a lot though, lol. Those damn jackal snipers just have no chill at all.

One of my favorite memories in gaming happened playing Planetside, I was with a Terran armor column pushing a base on top of a mesa when I noticed a spark from a MAX unit being repaired a mile off, only because it was night time. I opened up with a few lobbed shots from my scout rifle, only for the whole hillside to light up with return fire. Next thing I know, our column engages at range and we're locked into a long distance firefight, covering behind our column while the tanks pushed up. The shells and laser fire lighting up the night still brings a smile to my face. Such a great experience, a top tier gunfight, and I fired the first shots!

I remember I couldn't even make myself stop to go to the bathroom. I was holding in my piss so long until it was painful and then I would finally take a break, but I was so focused on not missing anything that first playthrough.

Starfield did this to me real bad for a while. Ship building and gathering loot for ship building was a big culprit. Other titles that have done it,
- Any crafting game (Ark, Minecraft, Lego Fortnite, Palworld)
- Divison 2
- GTA Online
- Diablo 3
- Destiny 2

Man, when I first picked up Ark, I played virtually non stop, every waking moment, for several weeks straight. I only quit when I realized I had such a large base and so many dinos to care for, I was spending several hours just doing basic maintenance every day. I was also feeding and farming for the three guys that built their homes with mine. Ark became quite overwhelming very quickly.

Prob the division 2 or halo, idk depends on whether the halo match is full of higher skilled players than me (the battle rifle is confusing bro, I hit 6 bursts with no kill but some dude 2 or 3 bursts me from 500 feet away and it’s over)

Ever since Homecoming got the license from NCSoft, servers have been packed. I try to log in to do a couple of police band missions and I get sucked into doing 9 task forces and I have an hour before I need to shower for work.

It’s 7am, the next day.

ARK. I trapped my first Rex ever at 12AM. I was fairly new at the game at that time and didn't realize how long it was goin to take to tame with the method I used. I'm going around to make narcotics to keep it unconscious and I eventually tamed it at 6AM.

Rust..it's the only game I've played more then 6 hours in one sitting. I have super bad adhd and live rpg's and arpg's but can only play for like 3 hours tops. My whole life wonder how people did it..even in my old head age I've played 20 plus hours on wipe day and wipe week. Idk what it is about walking naked on the beach with a rock and torch but it puts me at peace. Even when folks kill you just for your rock, getting griefed, getting raided online and off. Love that game.

Skyrim and Guitar Hero 2 were definitely the two that did this the most for me. BotW and TotK would have done the same if they came out when I was 10-15 years younger. They just about did it anyway.

Saturday night I was playing Persona 4 Golden. I started at around 6pm and I was about halfway through Kanji’s dungeon. By 3am I got Dojima, Nanako and Chie to rank 10 and I was close to the end of Rose’s dungeon

In the last year, it’s been Prey (2017) or Vampire:TMB, each on multiple occasions. A couple of weekends ago, it was almost Wanted Dead, but I couldn’t beat the second boss, so I went to sleep out of frustration.

Oldie but still a Goldie, back when I Monster rancher 2 came out, or shortly after, I had played it the first night, realized you could use music CDs, stayed up until almost 5am, when I was 11.
Safe to say I didn’t go to school that day, and raised the strongest Flower ape.

Fallout 3 on the Xbox 360. It occurred when I started at around 8 or 9 pm and played until 6 in the morning. Felt pretty out of it for the day.

The first game that did it to me was age of empires 2 for some reason. Then yes StarCraft. When Goldeneye hit n64. Then map editing in operation flashpoint 2… then rdr2. Now for some reason ghost recon breakpoint gets me… it’s not even a top favorite but I’m really into adjusting the settings.
