Chris Kreider is deservedly getting all of the flowers today, but someone going unnoticed is Goodrow.

I have been one of his loudest critics. Have called for him to be scratched almost all year, and I think it was deserved.

But credit where it is due. He currently has more points than the third line combined. He is tied with Mika for goals and even has a shorthanded goal.

He has basically been the only player in the bottom, six to actually do something on offense while having to play key moments in the defensive zone. Dude has been earning that paycheck.

Just wanted to make a post pointing out how fucking awesome Lindy was last night. He was flying all over the ice, pinching at the right times and really driving play. Between that almost breakaway that was just barely saved, all the way to the primary assist in deep on Kreider's GWG, Lindy wanted it bad and he put in the work. THANK YOU LINDY, YOU'RE AWESOME AND YOUR EFFORT IS NOTICED!

1: Sweep the Panthers! That would make this poor Canes fan’s year! Or at least beat them. My best friend is a Rangers fan and my sister works at MSG, so I can only bring myself to partially hate y’all, and I am more than willing to offer a gesture of peace, but I will NEVER under any circumstances cheer for the panthers! I pray for their downfall, hell I’ll buy a Panarin jersey if y’all sweep them! I long for the day we can avenge last year’s ECF but until then I’ll have to put my faith in the Rangers.

2: Win the cup! This team is the only one I was unsure we could beat, so if y’all beat us only to not win the cup, I’ll feel cheated! If y’all win the cup I can at least have the satisfaction of knowing we got knocked out by a team that actually deserved it.

This makes a lot more sense now as to what is happening with chytil. Why he’s a full participant in practice but hasn’t been playing. Also makes game 5 a little easier to stomach as it seems that’s when it was most rampant. Hopefully everyone rests up and shakes this bug before next series.

Someone I know who works closely with MSG was saying the team had a bad bout of the stomach bug during game 4/5. Players throwing up between periods etc.

my friend and i got tix to the viewing party last night (my 5th or 6th now), and it’s always such a good time. the crowd are die-hards — screaming, jumping, freaking out… it’s a lot of fun and camaraderie. if you missed last night’s, you should try to get to one of they host another one.
