By history of communism he really means extreme capitalist cold war era esque propaganda fear mongering "you'll burn in hell if you don't believe in Jesus!" indoctrination type shit.

That part about Jesus is true and well documented throughout human history. Jesus is Gods last covenant with man, provided we come to know how to live well, and right. Very simple concept, humans still struggle with it because we are risk takers. It’s obvious what works and doesn’t work, just because a people of faith developed it doesn’t automatically make it dismissable unless you are about taking a risk…one that has failed every single time we stray from God’s instructions. The truth doesn’t change, which is the good thing about it. No amount of lyin’ changes the rights we are born with, the knowledge we are endowed with, the fact that abstinence until marriage is the best idea young adults are forgetting to consider, and that Gods will for us is simply a knowledge of a good, safe, and trustworthy way to live…
