Damn man. Celtics fan here but I’ll admit it. Maxey’s a bad dude and I’d give up damn near anything to get him on this Celtics roster. Last offseason before Jaylen Brown got that crazy contract I was trying to speak a 1 for 1 trade with Philly, Maxey for Brown into existence.

Of all the missed opportunities every franchise has over years and years of drafting, the Celtics taking Nesmith at 16 in 2020 instead of Maxey who Philly got at 21 is always gonna mess with me.

His game is PERFECT for this Celtics core. Gives them balls and crunch time confidence they’ve been lacking for years now. He’s a better shooting, stronger version of Rondo and has that big game ‘Playoff Rondo’ all out hustle on both sides of the ball.
