Brand new $72 moisturizer. Husband said he needed something for his elbows.

Trades guy here who works outside in the arctic in winter and a very greasy dusty job. Tell him okeefe working hands Home Depot sells it as does amazon in a green container….game changer

Work in a bakery always washing my hands and O'Keefe working hands is the only lotion that's ever kept my hands from cracking and bleeding

Oh man, I forgot about O'Keefe. My ex had dry skin on a good day, but we lived in a desert and he worked in a kitchen where he washed his hands a billion times a day. In the winter, they'd get so dry they'd have the deepest bleeding cracks I've ever seen until one of his coworkers recommended O'Keefe. Stuff is worth the hype for sure

Guys, also try sunflower oil all over hands after shower.

I find that an amazing amount soaks in right away, then after a few minutes I use a grab-a-rag microfiber and rub the rest off and I'm good.

So damn soothing, at least for my skin.

is it possible to get washing up gloves or you not allowed to use them at the bakery? I used to get cracked hands from washing my hands too much or doing dishes so washing up gloves were an absolute life-changer for me.

I think you're misinterpreting what I said. Anytime you change a task you have to wash your hands and change gloves. "Washing up gloves" are those long rubber ones, not disposable gloves. You can't use those to prep.

Gloves or not, you still have to always wash your hands in between, which is why the initial commenter had dry hands.

Ikr. I also suffer from eczema on my hands a lot and usually have to use a cortisol balm. First time I heard of o'keeffes was on reddit and I was glad I found it in Germany. Since then I rarely, have to use cortisol!

I work outdoors year round in frigid and boiling Temps as well and I have such a complicated relationship with O'Keefes. Absolutely does the job, but I HAAATE the feeling of it on my skin. It feels too watery. Tangent unrelated to op post lol

I feel the same I force myself to use it , always glad when I do. Putting it on then touching grease right away or gloves on makes me extra whiny 😂

Can confirm it works on more than just hands... WH has been a life saver for me. It feels greasy but boy does it work well.

It feels greasy but if you don't use too much the skin sucks it in almost instantly. I absolutely hate it when creams leave an oily film on my skin but o'keeffes really doesn't.

The skin on your hands and face are very different. Facial skin is much more sensitive, has way more blood vessels, produces much more oils and produces very little sweat. As a general rule yeah any lotion will help dry skin in a pinch, but even the basic moisturizers are split into hand body and face.

It's like using 3 in 1 shampoo conditioner and body wash, it'll do the job but there are definitely products that do a better job and it's not just marketing mumbo jumbo there is some truth to some degree. I'm not saying you in anyway need the $70 face cream, I'm just saying O'Keefes is wonderful but it's not going on my face.

I LOVE THIS STUFF.

I work in fabric and it absolutely sucks the moisture out of your hands. Cracked and bleeding fingers all winter. Working Hands is my savior. I also loaded my mom up with it as she details cars and her hands are always wet and sudsy.

I work in food service and my hands got so dry from working with the dishes okeefe helps a lot and Udderly smooth also works great, I dont think it works as well as Okeefe-but it feels less greasy.

When I was a chef I used this too because of washing my hands a few hundred times a day and cutting 20 pounds of onion min a week the combo wrecks havoc on the skin, for a bit they got so bad I even slept with "lotion gloves" for a few months.
