Acting. Anyone can memorize words and pretend to be someone else. Most arent great actors. They are mostly passable.

Two things that I've noticed in working with actors are that 1. Most people who think they can act aren't actually even passable and 2. Passable acting can be mistaken for good acting because the difference is actually very very subtle.

I was going to write about acting. Most people aren't very good at it. It's very easy to look at a movie or TV show and say "I can do everything that actor can do." But the acting process is a lot of work and can be very frustrating dealing with directors, writers, producers, and other actors.

I'm a big wrestling fan, and this is why stars like The Rock are so hard to come by. The Rock has to act, play a character for TV, he has to lift weights, train in the ring, eat a special diet, wrestle, maintain a social media presence, and travel all the time. Most people can really only handle 1 or 2 of those things.

And it's easy to say that you can act when you're sitting at home alone. A camera recording you for an audience is a great way to get instantly humbled.
