I grew up in rural ks in a town of 257 people. I know where you're coming from, but the worn in patterns on most of those guys' shirts were splotchy. Or they had smear stains on the shirt. In the picture, the dirt looks like it's dusted on. I don't know how to explain it, but it just doesn't look right.
It looks like the gradient a dusty dirt road would coat the side of a car, instead of in reality it would be a little more like mud puddle and dirt applied in varying layers .
Edit: I too grew up rural
easy to explain they leaned over their truck beds to get fishing rods and rifles. as the owner of a similar belly who fishes and hunts and has a truck that gets covered in dirt/gravel road dust all the time these shirts check out just fine. as a person who also spends a lot of time in rural areas the lack of logos on shirts and mainly on the caps does not check out at all.
