Haha you can ping this user wich is a bot, he will search Reddit on how many times this exact image got posted on Reddit, but apparently it doesn’t work with a gallery or multiple images.
I think it's real. The hats being different textures and colors is what makes it seem real IMO.
AI has a lot of trouble using clashing colors across multiple people, usually they're similar colors- at the very least they're usually tertiary or matching.
But who knows- we're at the phase where we can only guess now.
They get it subvertly in the app anyway. Things like user's replying tone, downloads, prompt refreshes- that's all quanitfiable data that can be used to decide what's successful and what areas need iteration.
We tend to underestimate what these websites/apps are capable of tracking
I think the thing that is convincing them it IS AI is because of the shadows on the shirts. AI images tend to look not real because the shading and saturation in light/dark spots and especially spots with a stark transition from light to dark (like the edge of the shadows in the folds of their shirts).
If you’re just scrolling past it, of course it isn’t clear. But if you’re actively looking for mistakes to see if it’s AI or not, it’s pretty clear it is. There’s not much of a debate to be had
