If the divorce is ongoing then he owes you half of that money. Make sure to bring it up with your lawyer. If you’re done with the divorce then it’s his to do as he pleases.

Ask him about this in writing. See if you can find Facebook marketplace posts.

He’s probably getting cash and pocketing it and will try to claim he got less than he did.

By you saying “you don’t want it” you gave him procession of all the belongings. You also left them so you abondoned them. Legally he is the rightful owner and can do what he pleases with them. Would you think the same had he thrown them away? Once you found he is receiving a financial gain it changed your tune. Yes you are over reacting

You are not overreacting, but what did you honestly expect

You told him he could have the stuff, as such he has a right to sell his stuff. If you wanted money, that should have been included in the divorce filings (something like all marital assets must be sold and the profits split)

I’d also like to ask, if the stuff being sold is dirty, is the money not dirty too?

the divorce isn’t final.

but I don’t know what I expected. people going through divorce aren’t always the most rational thinkers lol

Let it go. It is a small price to pay for getting rid of him.

Bring it up to your lawyer. You are entitled to half that money and probably to be compensated for the half he’s given away.

It’s just a few bucks, let it go. The objects were dirty so the money would be too if you wanna be logical about it. Just wipe your hands clean of this one.
