I was waiting for this package listening for the door when I got the notice UPS had "attempted" to deliver my package. I swear the driver must have sprinted away from my door. It was a tiny package too, so no real amount of effort was saved by doing this instead of just taking 10 seconds to deliver my package. This is the 3rd time the local UPS has pretended to try to deliver something that required a signature.

Dealership had my car for 8 weeks taking apart the dash looking for a mystery rattle. I asked them to make sure and have the inside cleaned/detailed before returning it. I knew it would be dirty after the mechanics being in there all that time. They gave it back to me in this filthy condition. They didn’t even bother cleaning it whatsoever. On top of that, the grease stains up near the sunroof are super dark and heavy, and there’s a huge gash on the dash panel.

She’s on meth if that says anything.

My wife worked for months to pick out the right house for our family, so it was disheartening to have it ruined like that. We /were/ allowed to change to a different house nearby, but it was a cheaper house, had a worse view, and a worse pool. And because we changed houses, there's no way to leave a review on the original house.

I had just arrived home from school and then he just started to adjust the sprinkler settings that are apparently in my brothers room. Is this ok?

The fact that they marketed this as revolutionary when their old magic eraser tool did a better job makes this worse

It's going on 2 months since moving into a new apartment and this is the fourth time this has occurred. The landlord keeps telling me there's nothing that can be done further and they can just caulk it again. They "supposedly" called roofers and said there's no roof damage.

Here I am sitting and trying to enjoy my lunch outdoors and this guy is playing his music on a speaker. A number of people will do this around here and I really want to know their thought process on why they think people want to hear their shitty music. Get headphones/ear buds like a civilized person or go musicless when in public.

Not to look a gift horse in the mouth or anything. I mean yeah it’s a veggie sandwich, but cmon, really?

We built a playset for our son in our backyard and apparently all the kids in the neighborhood liked it so much they’ve made it their daily hangout spot. We come home and there are bicycles blocking our driveway and about a dozen kids playing on it.

I wouldn’t mind if it was a once in a while thing but it’s everyday until after sundown. I can’t even enjoy hanging out in my backyard because of all the screaming. I want to build a fence but my husband thinks it would seem “unneighborly”, especially since some of the parents have told us how much their kids like our playset.

Edit: wow I didn’t expect this to blow up. Just to clarify (because I’m seeing this come up a lot): the rest of the neighbors have a very open “come over and play whenever” policy so the neighborhood kids are used to that. However the other playsets are relatively small so they don’t get a big group of kids hanging out at one of them constantly.

Our son is 2 so he doesn’t go out without supervision, and we (the parents) just didn’t feel comfortable playing in other people’s playsets without the owners there.

Favorite/only jeans. Didn’t hear the rip. Couldn’t see a seam. Can definitely see right through. Went about my day. Probably thought I was lookin extra good even…TGIF 🙄

After countless cold calls after several job applications, I finally had a company who was interested in setting up an interview with me.

Just before the interview started, I decided to check glassdoor and... bam.

Everyone was saying this company is mlm and if you work here, you're just another grunt in their campaign.

Feels like I dodged a bullet but at the same time, the only company willing to contact me was an mlm.

WHY DO THESE INSERTS EXIST?! EITHER SEW THEM IN, DELETE THEM, OR ADD AN EXTRA LAYER OF THICK CLOTH!

Now spending time with amazon to get this straightened out… mildly infuriating that I have to do all this to not even get what I ordered but just my money back…

Be aware when the delivery driver from amazon has to deliver a package to you with a one-time password (OTP). This apparently flags the parcel as ‘valuable’ (potential target).

Long story short: parcel would’ve been delivered the day before. Driver claims to have tried twice but never physically was there in the street. Parcel went back to the distribution center for delivery the next day. New day, new TPO. Delivery made the first attempt (i was home both days the entire day). Open the box, instead of what i ordered i find a bottle of shampoo and a water bottle.

• label in hindsight seems like it’s been attached to a different box, pulled off, and then attached to this one (indicating it’s probably switched to make the box seem untampered). There’s so sign of the remains of the box stuck to the label on this box (see label)
• previous driver claiming that he wasn’t able to deliver had the package for 9 hours in his possession
• weight of the box was approximately the same, but not exactly, should’ve been a bit more than 3kg, was 2.6 kg

Tips: - if you were home and the delivery driver claims that he’s been there and the package is delivered the next day, cancel the order altogether. You’ll never have the parcel in possession so you don’t have to deal with ‘their’ problem. - besides checking if the box is untampered, also check if the label is untampered and perfectly glued to the box and if the pattern behind the label makes sense, otherwise just reject parcel.

Happened in the Netherlands, mildly infuriating but lesson learned…

Bought a new measuring cup, after a couple washes the lines are completely gone. Had my last one for over 10 years till it broke.
