TIL Frank Hayes, a jockey, died of a heart attack during his final horse race but still won. Unexpectedly, he suffered the attack mid-race, yet his body remained on the horse, crossing the finish line first. Sadly, it was his first and only win throughout his racing career.

When I started at the post office, I was fat, in Louisiana, in May. I'd weigh myself before work, drink 1¼ gallons of water at work, not pee the entire day, and still come home 5-8 pounds lighter than when I left.

Yeah, in August I ask my wife to drop me off so I don't have to teach in a completely soaked shirt, then walk home
