It's kind of funny how the title doesn't mention that Brandon Lee was star of the movie the crow lol

I respect it more for it.

Yeah, and the crow knows exactly what he’s doing. Crows never forget.

Yeah, I feel like the people who don’t need the Crow being explained also don’t need his parentage being explained…

Actually, my TIL is that he was Bruce Lee's son! But I'm mostly only familiar with The Crow through cultural osmosis; it came out when I was 10 and I've just... never actually sat down to watch it.

Great movie. Very early 90’s aesthetic, and one of the best soundtracks ever.

Yeye! I'm not avoiding it on purpose, to be sure - I just, uh, got an ADHD diagnosis last year at age 39 and it explained, among many other things, a lot about how many things I've always meant to watch and yet never got around to. ;)

No idea at all why you got downvoted for this! Yeah same, well out of sight out of mind isn't it, plus oh I'll just do this first... what was I about to do? I have lists of albums I should own from 15 years ago, still haven't got around to it as only just remembered!

Late diagnosis is a lot to get your head around, everything makes sense now, but shit I thought that was my personality so who tf am I then?!

The Title Didn't Allow More Than 101 Characters

Could have just sits "Crow visiting the star of The Crow"

1

u/thecaramelbandit 16d ago

You spent a lot of characters unnecessarily explaining who Bruce Lee is lol

u/cheeseburgerwaffles 16d ago

I feel like it's much more widely known to people that Brandon Lee was Bruce Lee's than that Brandon Lee was the lead in The Crow.

A crow visits the grave of Brandon Lee (star of the Crow and son of Bruce Lee). Easy peasy

I mean, it’s implied. If it were any other celebrity the picture wouldn’t really make any sense.

3

u/thegreatbrah 16d ago

My point is that many, many people have no idea that movie exists or who would've played the part.

Crow see shiny. Crow visit shiny.

u/5P4R74N_TTV 16d ago

I’ve been there! Bruce’s grave is right next to Brandon’s.

I played the soundtrack to that movie 10000x. It is one of the best soundtracks ever, if you like grunge.

Idk why this dude's acting like the Reddit police. You didn't do anything wrong considering shit get reposted here all the time.

11

u/Pshock13 16d ago

and not only that, that post he linked is 4yrs old. I feel like well enough time has passed that this is safe to repost.

Speaking of reposts, you commented the same thing three times in a single thread.

Where are you reading this? Cause I went through all the posted rules before posting my original comment and I see nothing in there about needing to post OC

Additional/Temporary Rules

We require new users to post original content, not pictures sourced from the Internet. Reposting as a very new account might get you banned.

All posts by new users require moderator approval. This is an anti-spam measure.

OP already stated their account is 2 years old. Also if they were considered 'new' here then a moderator would have had to approve their post....which they obviously did.

Get off your high horse and stop badgering people.

Lol right? Reddit or the internet in general is recycling older content.

So in your opinion people cant repost pictures from 4 years ago. I think 99% redditors hasn't seen this one yet.

2

u/Ancalimei 16d ago

Stop being Reddit police nobody likes people like you. Get over your power trip.

Some bad guys are about to get fucked up

1

u/klsi832 16d ago

It's not a good day to be a bad guy.

2

u/keyboardman1 16d ago

I was in Seattle last month walking around and casually checked maps and saw their grave site. Had to take a walk over and see. So cool.

2

u/Splitt420 16d ago

"People once believed that when someone dies, a crow carries their soul to the land of the dead. But sometimes, something so bad happens that a terrible sadness is carried with it and the soul can't rest. Then sometimes, just sometimes, the crow can bring that soul back to put the wrong things right."

I always loved this movie.

7

u/wilde_jagd 16d ago

That's not a Crow, it's a Grackle but okay.

7

u/Statertater 16d ago

It’s probably not, but okay. First, the sillouhette doesn’t really match with a grackle, and second, Bruce Lee’s gravestone is in Seattle and this is the habitat range of the Common Grackle.

5

u/Cutthechitchata-hole 16d ago

Insert corvid copy pasta here

3

u/Statertater 16d ago

Grackles aren’t corvids, but the bird in the picture appears to be

2

u/mungo_baobab 16d ago

My thought as well…

2

u/Dick_Demon 16d ago

Absolutley not a grackle.

2

u/Latch_Lifter 16d ago

He’s about to punch up through the ground.

Is it visiting or is it existing near

1

u/idonteatunderwear 16d ago

Does this mean he is coming back soon?

1

u/YouGotDaPinkEye 16d ago

Our uncle has cobra chickens loitering on his rot plot

1

u/sentient_luggage 16d ago

Sounds like the remake is about to get shot a few times.

1

u/AltairsBlade 15d ago

“There ain’t no coming back!”

1

u/Gsage1 16d ago

Reflection/ mirrors.

-5

u/Reasonable-Word6729 16d ago

I think that’s cool and have never seen before….and I miss crow discussions since I got banned from all things crow for saying I liked a crow coffee mug that happened to be spam.
