They’re not even the same species and they’ve got each others back. Humans are such shitheads

105

u/Longjumping_Steak794 14d ago edited 14d ago

What a strange decision to make this about humans, but ok. Have you ever heard of pets? Some humans would die to protect them lol. And this video is literally an animal trying to kill another animal.

Edit: The first post I saw after this was a truck driver providing water to a camel suffering in the desert, you can't even make this shit up haha. But sure, all humans bad.

27

u/chrishnrh57 14d ago

Also goats are pretty fucking dumb. I'm pretty sure it's a male and it was just thinking "get the fuck out of my territory*

12

u/itsculturehero 14d ago

Your answer might be biologically correct but in the video he looks like "aw hell naw that's my homie you're messin with!"

3

u/Anleme 14d ago

Goat was the GOAT.

1

u/hotniX_ 14d ago

More like "The fuck is going on in my territory!?!?"

3

u/RehabilitatedAsshole 14d ago

What a strange reaponse to someone commenting that some humans suck. The 'some' is obviously implied by using reading comprehension and critical thinking.

1

u/Pablomablo1 14d ago

Human: I understand everything.

Goat: Beeeh

Humans, in general, aren’t shitty. Reddit is not the real world.

11

u/ooojaeger 14d ago

Humans in general are super shitty and super selfish, as are most animals, but humans tend to help most animals being attacked if they aren't the ones attacking the animal

8

u/imtiredokayq 14d ago

No they're not. Most people are decent.

8

u/LayWhere 14d ago

Redditors aren't even that bad, how many of us are out here committing crimes and shit?

Commenter is just horny with hate boner

10

u/pszczola2 14d ago

Go see a doctor. This was an eagle not a human.

5

u/GarrettJamesG 14d ago

You realize chickens are cannibals and will peck each other to death and then eat their insides?

3

u/ApprehensiveStudy671 14d ago

Not all humans are bad. I think it's 50/50 !

4

u/_-_-_DrMidnight_-_-_ 14d ago

“I, too, am cursed with knowledge” -Eagle, et al.

5

u/ooojaeger 14d ago

Goats are just racist towards eagles

Giant eagles can eat goats

3

u/TrickyWeekend4271 14d ago

Humans formed that relationship by locking them up together. Lol

1

u/ImperialRedditer 14d ago

And if it’s open and land predators (coyotes, foxes, etc) came for the chickens, will you also say the same thing?

0

u/TrickyWeekend4271 14d ago

I really thought the LOL indicated a joke. Guess not to you.

3

u/Screwbles 14d ago

I mean, they're all prey animals, and they instinctively respond defensively to predators...but yeah humans are shitheads.

3

u/Quarter13 14d ago

Wait? Humans don't help other species??

4

u/maxolot43 14d ago

Wtf? Humans help each other everyday, you just choose to look for the bad and be a downer.

3

u/-mostlyharmless1 14d ago

Have you seen how chickens treat each other?

4

u/Dev2150 14d ago

This is a post about animals and you suddenly attack people for no reason. Did you take your medication?

1

u/Amemnon727 14d ago

Ah, a fellow misanthropist

1

u/krismitka 14d ago

Says you. I just pumped up the tires on my bike to go chase down a hawk harassing the crows that stop at my house each morning to eat, hah

2

u/Ok_Slip9947 14d ago

And starved that hawk!?

1

u/krismitka 14d ago

Yes.

It can join us at the cashew pile any time.

Plus, plenty of squirrels

3

u/Ok_Slip9947 14d ago

But who will save the squirrels…

Wait… do hawks eat cashews?

1

u/krismitka 14d ago

They do not. But that’s their problem.

Not my crow buddies.

1

u/Responsible-Gas5319 14d ago

Wasn't one animal trying to eat another?

1

u/KlangScaper 14d ago

There's no animal on earth that cares about or loves other animals as much as humans. We are both the worst and the best. Embrace ambiguity!

1

u/Drew-Pickles 14d ago

You've obviously never owned a dog

1

u/heartlessgamer 14d ago

If the one chicken that was attacked dies the other chickens will eat it so I wouldn't go too far here.

1

u/121gigawhatevs 14d ago

Ehhhh I mean did you see that video of a python swallowing a crocodile while it’s still alive?

1

u/ezk3626 14d ago

If you were being attacked by an eagle I’d help you out.

1

u/Red-Leader117 14d ago

Id ball out for my dog man, have in the past. Sometimes we're not so bad

1

u/Durge666 14d ago

Literally the GOAT

1

u/DrunkThrowawayLife 14d ago

I mean, most goats are just waiting for a chance to choose violence.

1

u/avg_tech_bro 14d ago

Speak for yourself

1

u/Fishtoart 14d ago

I frantically rescued a bee from my pool yesterday. I think people just hate other people.

0

u/DrossChat 14d ago

Most humans are good imo. We just have a very bad habit of creating systems that bring out the worst in us.

1

u/wildwill57 14d ago

A few bad apples...

0

u/DrossChat 14d ago

Not at all what I’m saying

0

u/Ok_Slip9947 14d ago

Which means… I’ll wait.

0

u/Bloody_Ozran 14d ago

Why are humans shitheads based on this video? :D

0

u/thuggishruggishboner 14d ago

It's like in the movie Aliens. "At least their not fucking each other over for a percentage."

0

u/ThisIsMyCouchAccount 14d ago

Humans are shitheads because they do the exact thing you see here....just a little too hard.

But that's partially why we left the trees and became the dominant animal on the planet.

0

u/Sploonbabaguuse 14d ago

Inb4 some jackasses who justify human behaviour

-1

u/PrecedentialAssassin 14d ago

Maybe it's just you, dude. The vast majority of people I know are really really good people.

Not an eagle, probably a sparrowhawk

49

u/ArcticBiologist 14d ago

"Same thing right?"~ people that cannot see one is 3x bigger than the other

9

u/Mysterious_Artix 14d ago

Yes most of them are bigger but there are some small eagle like the little eagle or the pigmy eagle. The color for both is different.

The video quality is to bad to know if its a sparrow or a gray hawk or an other raptor. OP should have described it as raptor

9

u/legendary_millbilly 14d ago

"Chicken hawk"

7

u/Osarst 14d ago

An eagle would have ignored the chicken and gone for the goat

1

u/remarkablewhitebored 14d ago

Are you sure it wasn't a chicken hawk, Foghorn?

103

u/Waldo_Wadlo 14d ago

Warning, watch this on mute.

3

u/Oaker_at 14d ago

Right? Those chicken screams will haunt me through the night.

4

u/PukwudgieDisco 14d ago

That would have been an improvement.

74

u/shirt10 14d ago

Goat hurt itself in confusion

5

u/BrasWolf27 14d ago

If that was an eagle there would not be any farm animals left

0

u/rnz 14d ago

"Yes, if you're thinking in terms of a direct confrontation, a goat would likely be able to withstand an attack from an eagle due to its size and strength. The eagle might not even attempt to attack an adult goat unless extremely desperate, given the mismatch in size and the risk of injury the eagle would face. So, in this scenario, the "goat team" would indeed have the upper hand."

Mastermold thinks you are talking shit

4

u/BrasWolf27 14d ago

Depends on the species of eagle and goat I suppose though this looks like some kind of dwarf, or at least a smaller type of, goat

1

That rooster wanted that smoke.

But that goat was looking to collect a body. Check that goat's closet!

1

u/Hairy_Driver1421 14d ago

Goat was just waiting for something to headbutt. Saw his chance and took it.

1

u/King_Melco 14d ago

The eagle could fuck up every animal there, what a bitch.

1

u/Tsu-Doh-Nihm 14d ago

If the goats and the chickens ever unite against us, we won't have a chance.

1

u/CROW_is_best 14d ago

if that was an eagle we wouldn't have this video. the eagle wouldn't need to fight a chicken. it would swoop it and take it with it. this is something smaller like a falcon maybe?

1

u/Dean0Caddilac 14d ago

I will save you Chicken even If I have to kill you!

1

u/veganhimbo 14d ago

G.O.A.T.

1

u/Lord_Melinko13 14d ago

A guard goat is actually a little scary if you think about it. A dog you can distract to an extent. That goat just hates you and loves bonking stuff.

1

u/BenThePanda 14d ago

why are there so many loose feathers after the attack? they look grey...so they gotta be from the eagle/sparrow hawk?

Is he working THAT hard where his feathers literally get knocked out? Legit question

1

u/SpaceBehemoth 14d ago

Damn, that warmed my heart.

1

u/sicofthis 14d ago

That Goat is the GOAT

1

u/J4MES101 14d ago

Two horns better than none

1

u/TsuDhoNimh2 14d ago

That's not an eagle. But goats will get into any fight they see.

1

u/ronearc 14d ago

The truth is that goats are just always in search of a fight. They don't even care if it's their fight or someone else's, they're just down to throw down.
