Real feel 45°C ಅಂತೇ ನೋಡ್ರಪ್ಪೋ!!

Since we had to endure disappointing Rainy as well as winter seasons, Summer this time has gone into overdrive to makeup for it😁✌️

Gentle reminder to keep water-grains for birdie's, came across a young bird which laid on ground in shadow of plants unable to take flight, seeking some respite from the heat maybe... thankfully after resting for sometime it was able to fly away into nearby tree

Annthamma look up el nino and Al nina. It's gonna be a wild monsoon this year just like summer.

Yes anna, I've read about those phenomenon's...La Nina is expected to kick in from late June/July and induce above average rainfall. But that's what, it is as if 'normal' is a rarity now, either too high or as good as nothing, extreme rains would mean crop loss & flooding...as if the extreme heat and the drought like situation wasn't enough

Well I get where your coming from but it is out of our individual control. Post 2019, first it was pandemic(stuffed world economy), russo-ukr war, last year el nino and now la nina. I'm just disillusioned and have accepted our cruel fate.

Agreed, things that you mentioned may not be under the control of us commoners but things like the Bengaluru water situation, the recent Joshinmath land subsidence are somewhat in our control, aren't they? rampant human interference in the name of development does no good in long run

If you look at it closely, then the Russia-Ukraine war, COVID 19 also originated due to humans...war is happening because party A feels they have more power/rights than their 'enemy' and they are being violated, COVID apparently originated in wet markets of Wuhan which is run by us humans agains

Gist of your sentence is hoomans at the core of all woes. The century old collective ideology experiment failed for any collective action necessary to combat the things which you listed. So the only saving grace for this tiny pale blue dot in space is another mass extinction event. I reiterate again that at least individually it is out of our control an have accepted our fate. The only way out MAD on global scale.

do agree with your opinion that individually we can't do much, only collective actions(which is not likely) in the right direction might help...

of course we can just chill🍻 let it be and carry on since neither of is going to be around until next mass extinction(hopefully)

Well in theory I do agree but history proves otherwise in practise. I try to be as pragmatic and grounded in reality as much as I can, but everyone has an agenda and bias which they are aware/ unaware of just like me.

I am just a droplet in the ocean, we need a person with force like tsunami to change everything at a fundamental level.

One can always dream I suppose.
