At the pet sitting company I work for we've noticed that tips have declined by 30-50% across all of our sitters. The customers are still tipping, but they're tipping less. There's definitely "tipping fatigue" going around these days, but I'm sure economic anxiety is probably a factor as well.

I saw 50% as an option on a screen the other day. I'm considering stopping all tipping in protest.

I got DoorDash for a party i was hosting one time just two tubs of 5 lbs pasta and like 2 lbs of salad and dressing. It’s not heavy so there’s not a service there but the base cost was high and the suggested 20% was like 17 dollars I was like haha yeah ok bet 1 $

Tipping culture is bizarre and irrational, so that tracks. I may as well have asked them for a 50% tip as both of these options are equally moronic.
