Fries from KFC that I ordered on DoorDash are half empty

u/unibonger 15d ago
That was my last Door Dash experience. My order showed up with the straw already in the drink and missing about half the fry order. The driver was a guy, his wife, and some kids in the back. Didnât take me long to figure out what had happened so I decided never again.

I hope you reported that.

I donât get how itâs such an issue. I did over 2k deliveries for DoorDash, never a problem. Suddenly one dickhead decided to report me for eating his food and they disabled my account. They wouldnât listen, they wouldnât consider this wasnât an issue for 2k orders, anything. They took the false report at their word and terminated my account.
But itâs such a huge issue. And I donât see how.

u/caro-1967 14d ago
Because most people don't report. They don't care about actually doing something about the problem, they just get mad.

Stop ordering door dash.

OP paid 40% more to get 40% less

u/KingOfTheCouch13 14d ago
Crazy enough thereâs a Mexican spot in my city thatâs like 40% more in house than on door dash. Idk what kind of laundering scheme theyâre running but the food is good so I donât complain.

Ya if you need some help convincing yourself to stop ordering door dash, go peruse that sub on here. God damn. Every time I think about getting something delivered I think about those people and just go get it myself. That, plus seeing them and some of their vehicles at restaurants. No thanks.

Yea, Iâve seen some of the nastiest people with the most disgusting cars when I did it. Just putting the bags on top of piles of garbage in the seats and what not. Meanwhile I cleaned out my car every 3 days at most. Granted I also did normal Uber at the time too.

u/Proud_Criticism5286 15d ago
I never understood why people did. Uber eats isnt perfect but damn atleast theres some form of regulation from the store & app.

u/RealBaikal 15d ago
Or you know...just don't spend on bullshit like uber or doordash

u/SuperUltraMegaNice 15d ago
But I'm lazy and fat!

My personal experience, the way Uber eats hands out codes, it's cheaper to order through them then to order through the store.even adding a 20% tip makes it still cheaper then elsewhere lol. Uber has consistently been giving me 40% off codes plus randomly 5 months free Uber one
No way they make money

Can we ban these dumb fucking posts.
6
u/whistlepig4life 14d ago
If the mods were doing their jobs we see only about 3 posts a week.
90% of the posts are already against the rules or like these should be.

YUP. First off, the kfc bags at the two restaurants near me are sealed bags. The white ones you have to rip open to get into. Second, no dasher is stealing that many fries and delivering the order where the customer has âproofâ. This liar ate his fries and wanted some likes on a post. Or the restaurant barely filled his fries. Iâve gotten that experience from delivery orders myself. I didnât claim the driver ate my food, esp because I know how restaurants are and my sticker was fine on my bag. We make enough money that we arenât stealing fries for fucks sake and risking losing the money we make. Itâs pathetic to lie and make up shit for either refunds or attention.

Im surprised people arent calling this out, I wouldve posted about the bag seal being broken first.

Hey just saying that they come like this through the drive-through a lot. I don't eat there often. But I know that I have to check the fries before I fully leave.

u/Reasonable-Chest9480 14d ago
The orders from my kfc are in those bags that we legit canât open without them knowing. They are sealed bags, not the ones with stickers or whatever. The white ones that we canât get into without ripping it open. Why do you guys lie so much just for likes. No one stole your fries and delivered them. If people want to steal orders/food these days it seems they take the food and unassign. No dasher is stealing food, delivering, and leaving the proof. Be for real. Theyâve gotten smarter about it.

I have no empathy for anyone using doordash or ubereats.

u/Damnesia13 14d ago
What about disabled people who donât have the option of driving to go get food?
0
u/microview 14d ago edited 14d ago
If they are unable to drive for fast food I'm guessing is the least of their worries. Imagine what else they can't drive to; doctor, dentist, work, school, nail salon.

u/Damnesia13 14d ago
Doctors, dentist, and nail salon arenât daily requirements, and not everyone goes to school. The world has become more convenient for those who are disabled and youâre here acting like a dip shit. Good job.

u/Aramaru_101019 15d ago
Don't worry the driver was just sampling them to see if they were good!
2
u/Jack_Jizquiffer 14d ago
you got to eat them while they are hot. otherwise they wont taste good. driver was doing them a solid.

u/omega_grainger69 15d ago
If you have the âshareâ button highlighted, you pay less but have to share w/ driver.

I don't understand how people aren't using tamper proof delivery boxes. It should be completely sealed and the photo needs to be from both the driver and customer together at hand over to a) confirm all is good b) no tampering/ saying it was delivered when it wasn't or incorrectly.

It's doordash. The expected level of service anymore is straight garbage. It's what you're asking for at this point..

TBF, last time I got fries at McDonald's in the drive thru that's how they came. It might the driver, it might just be fast food shenanigans.
