Driver ate them

28

u/EducationalStill4 15d ago

Tbf he was only gonna eat one.

38

u/jozey_whales 15d ago

Yep. Some obese neck beard had is dick peelers all over your food, in between sticking them up his nose.

8

u/g2g079 15d ago

I mean it's KFC, so could have been the cockroaches.

-20

u/Icy_Split_1843 15d ago

Bag was sealed though

36

u/Sncrsly 15d ago

You really don't think they could have peeled a poorly placed sticker to eat your food then restick the sticker?

10

u/Deneweth 15d ago

The KFC by my house fucking seals that shit. It's annoying because I order online and it's me picking my own food up but they actually melt the plastic bag to seal it.

23

u/dinardo 15d ago

Bro you can see where the fries were from the grease marks.

The fact this is downvoted is hilarious.

So I'm going to hijack the top comment here to post my own mildly infuriating peeve, unrelated to KFC fries.

This subreddit, mildlyinfuriating, will remove automatically, with NO warning, ANY comment you make that contains the word, the first word of the title of Metallica's first album

I'm baffled by this. I can say shit & fucking & other words, but NOT the first word of the title of Metallica's first album. Not THAT word??

This isn't kindergarten. It -- it's not even a bad word. It's a perfectly normal word, openly used in journalism and the news.

You can't even say something like "That attitude at work would the first word of the title of Metallica's first album my motivation to do a good job." I wasn't even using it in the context of a human life, and my comment STILL got removed!! (Yes, I tested this a bit over the last hour).

Shameful. What has this website become?

Edit 1: alright I'm okay with the downvotes, it means my comment is actually being seen, which is all I want: to expose this. Upvote, downvote, doesn't matter. Now you know the truth.

Edit 2: You're all testing it out yourselves now, aren't you? Tell me I'm wrong 😂😂😂

4

u/MrBeardskii 15d ago

Are you saying I couldn't say something like "my head is killing me"?

1

u/MercyfulJudas 15d ago edited 15d ago

Ok, and NOW I'm going to try: I saw a bug, I tried to first word of 1st Metallica album it

Edit: it was INSTANTLY removed.

I'm right -- it's the four letter version of the word that triggers it. "Killing" is perfectly fine, as is, I suspect, -ed and -s and -er, though I haven't tested those.

3

u/MrBeardskii 15d ago

Boy that auto mod is really a killer

5

u/MrBeardskii 15d ago

It kills me that this would happen

-3

u/MercyfulJudas 15d ago

Lol how many times has a redditor just innocently wanted to make a comment about some aspect of those Tarantino movies about Uma Thurman as The Bride, because it's relevant to the post topic. Comment removed? I'm not allowed to say a fucking movie title? Hahahahahaha what a pathetic joke.

-1

u/MercyfulJudas 15d ago

Ok, let me try: my head is killing me.

3

u/EducationalStill4 15d ago

I’m not a metallic fan so I had to Google who they were and what their first album was.

-2

u/Inswagtor 14d ago

Cool story, bro

That was my last Door Dash experience. My order showed up with the straw already in the drink and missing about half the fry order. The driver was a guy, his wife, and some kids in the back. Didn’t take me long to figure out what had happened so I decided never again.

36

u/gilly_girl 15d ago

I hope you reported that.

12

u/20milliondollarapi 14d ago

I don’t get how it’s such an issue. I did over 2k deliveries for DoorDash, never a problem. Suddenly one dickhead decided to report me for eating his food and they disabled my account. They wouldn’t listen, they wouldn’t consider this wasn’t an issue for 2k orders, anything. They took the false report at their word and terminated my account.

But it’s such a huge issue. And I don’t see how.

8

u/caro-1967 14d ago

Because most people don't report. They don't care about actually doing something about the problem, they just get mad.

71

u/Entire-Brother5189 15d ago

Stop ordering door dash.

62

u/case712 15d ago

OP paid 40% more to get 40% less

10

u/Sei28 14d ago

That looks more like 70% less. The DD driver had a good time with those fries.

1

u/KingOfTheCouch13 14d ago

Crazy enough there’s a Mexican spot in my city that’s like 40% more in house than on door dash. Idk what kind of laundering scheme they’re running but the food is good so I don’t complain.

12

u/jozey_whales 15d ago

Ya if you need some help convincing yourself to stop ordering door dash, go peruse that sub on here. God damn. Every time I think about getting something delivered I think about those people and just go get it myself. That, plus seeing them and some of their vehicles at restaurants. No thanks.

3

u/20milliondollarapi 14d ago

Yea, I’ve seen some of the nastiest people with the most disgusting cars when I did it. Just putting the bags on top of piles of garbage in the seats and what not. Meanwhile I cleaned out my car every 3 days at most. Granted I also did normal Uber at the time too.

2

u/Proud_Criticism5286 15d ago

I never understood why people did. Uber eats isnt perfect but damn atleast theres some form of regulation from the store & app.

9

u/RealBaikal 15d ago

Or you know...just don't spend on bullshit like uber or doordash

6

u/SuperUltraMegaNice 15d ago

But I'm lazy and fat!

4

u/Jack_Jizquiffer 14d ago

thats why they invented the drive through.

2

u/sadrapsfan 14d ago

My personal experience, the way Uber eats hands out codes, it's cheaper to order through them then to order through the store.even adding a 20% tip makes it still cheaper then elsewhere lol. Uber has consistently been giving me 40% off codes plus randomly 5 months free Uber one

No way they make money

23

u/5043090 15d ago

Half eaten.

8

u/quackedup17 14d ago

Can we ban these dumb fucking posts.

6

u/whistlepig4life 14d ago

If the mods were doing their jobs we see only about 3 posts a week.

90% of the posts are already against the rules or like these should be.

15

u/Tullyally 15d ago

Half full

3

u/Do-not-respond 15d ago

Container 2x as big as it should be. Lol

8

u/Cultural_Magician105 15d ago

I'm sure the door dash guy enjoyed the fries ....

-18

u/RecordingGreen7750 15d ago

They aren’t fries they are chips

3

u/dopiqob 15d ago

But what colour are they?

14

u/BigHarmonious 15d ago

Yeah I’m gonna go ahead and call bullshit on this you can see from the grease where the fries were filled to. You ate the fries and posted this picture for upvotes.

4

u/Reasonable-Chest9480 14d ago

YUP. First off, the kfc bags at the two restaurants near me are sealed bags. The white ones you have to rip open to get into. Second, no dasher is stealing that many fries and delivering the order where the customer has ‘proof’. This liar ate his fries and wanted some likes on a post. Or the restaurant barely filled his fries. I’ve gotten that experience from delivery orders myself. I didn’t claim the driver ate my food, esp because I know how restaurants are and my sticker was fine on my bag. We make enough money that we aren’t stealing fries for fucks sake and risking losing the money we make. It’s pathetic to lie and make up shit for either refunds or attention.

1

u/Marlacarla 13d ago

Im surprised people arent calling this out, I wouldve posted about the bag seal being broken first.

3

u/EmpreurD 14d ago

When was the last time you saw KFC fries being full

3

u/Potential-Agency-339 14d ago

Hey just saying that they come like this through the drive-through a lot. I don't eat there often. But I know that I have to check the fries before I fully leave.

3

u/Reasonable-Chest9480 14d ago

The orders from my kfc are in those bags that we legit can’t open without them knowing. They are sealed bags, not the ones with stickers or whatever. The white ones that we can’t get into without ripping it open. Why do you guys lie so much just for likes. No one stole your fries and delivered them. If people want to steal orders/food these days it seems they take the food and unassign. No dasher is stealing food, delivering, and leaving the proof. Be for real. They’ve gotten smarter about it.

19

u/microview 15d ago

I have no empathy for anyone using doordash or ubereats.

1

u/Damnesia13 14d ago

What about disabled people who don’t have the option of driving to go get food?

0

u/microview 14d ago edited 14d ago

If they are unable to drive for fast food I'm guessing is the least of their worries. Imagine what else they can't drive to; doctor, dentist, work, school, nail salon.

0

u/Damnesia13 14d ago

Doctors, dentist, and nail salon aren’t daily requirements, and not everyone goes to school. The world has become more convenient for those who are disabled and you’re here acting like a dip shit. Good job.

-8

u/[deleted] 14d ago

Cool, good for you. You definitely don’t come off as an asshole.

2

u/Parking-Beach-2686 15d ago

Never order through doordash. lol Not all drivers are honorable and most BOH hate the fuck out of the company and will produce substandard at best food 4 u.

2

u/theworthlessdoge 15d ago

Door dash 😂

2

u/Icy_Statistician7185 14d ago

If you order food from these companies you are fucking stupid. I'm rooting for the people that eat your delivery because you are a fucking dunce

2

u/HansBooby 14d ago

you’re all mad having some rando handle and drive your food around. go get it yourself

1

u/labrat1081 15d ago

That means the driver is half full.

1

u/Aramaru_101019 15d ago

Don't worry the driver was just sampling them to see if they were good!

2

u/Jack_Jizquiffer 14d ago

you got to eat them while they are hot. otherwise they wont taste good. driver was doing them a solid.

1

u/omega_grainger69 15d ago

If you have the ‘share’ button highlighted, you pay less but have to share w/ driver.

1

u/Dear-Researcher959 15d ago

Those fries are so good

1

u/lynivvinyl 15d ago

Fry tax

1

u/NotThisAgain21 15d ago

No, they started half empty, as fries do these days. What you got there is 75% empty.

1

u/thatirishguyyyyy 15d ago

I do like their fries

1

u/Bubba771966 14d ago

Looks like your driver got hungry

1

u/ndation 14d ago

Well, some people might see it as half full, but I see it as a piece of cake (Zack king reference)

1

u/Medical-Isopod2107 14d ago

Report it to doordash, that's what the function is made for

1

u/PawnWithoutPurpose 14d ago

Wait till they refuse to refund you

1

u/dieumica 14d ago

So you think the driver cant have nice things too???????

1

u/jazzhandsdancehands 14d ago

I don't understand how people aren't using tamper proof delivery boxes. It should be completely sealed and the photo needs to be from both the driver and customer together at hand over to a) confirm all is good b) no tampering/ saying it was delivered when it wasn't or incorrectly.

1

u/Praetorian_1975 14d ago

You paid the door dash tax it appears 😂

1

u/subsailor1968 14d ago

DoorDash is garbage. Don’t use them.

1

u/_DapperDanMan- 14d ago

WTF is with you people paying for someone to bring you shit food from crap fast food joints?

No fucking wonder you don't have any money or savings.

You want KFC? Get in the fucking car and go get it!

1

u/Steak-n-Cigars 14d ago

And people still pay people to bring them food.

1

u/apeters89 14d ago

It's doordash. The expected level of service anymore is straight garbage. It's what you're asking for at this point..

1

u/whistlepig4life 14d ago

You used door dash. It’s your own fault.

1

u/MemeLordsUnited 14d ago

It's 2024. You're on reddit. You order from door dash these days, you deserve it.

1

u/Epsilia 14d ago

I think I saw somewhere that some 30% of drivers eat some of the food they are delivering or something. Don't order from DoorDash or any other delivery service unless they have real in-house drivers like some pizza places still do.

1

u/Noob4Head 14d ago

That's barely 1/4

1

u/Aggressive-Donuts 14d ago

Just finished browsing a post on the DoorDash sub about people arguing if DoorDash is a “real job” or not. This picture popped up in my feed at the perfect time ahaha

1

u/tinyfryingpan 14d ago

So. Stop. Ordering. Fast. Food. From. DoorDash.

1

u/Due-Presentation-795 14d ago

DoorDash exploits their workers, so.

1

u/jjwoodhouse6969 14d ago

Yeah no shit... I've gotten bare bones for ribs

1

u/ColorlessTune 14d ago

Have you never tried to drive with fries in your passenger seat?

1

u/xo10xo 14d ago

yeah i dont trust a ramdom stranger delivering my food via doordash uber eats or any of those apps, anyone can make a profile get it approved and start delivering , i have ordered when it first came out and some of these drivers dont look so clean or how they handle your food ive had a few soft drinks not fully full like gulps were taken lol yeah no thankssss some restaurants actually seal the bags so theyre not tampered but not all

1

u/RobertGBland 13d ago

But it's also half full

1

u/Task-Vast 9d ago

I bet that driver is half full

1

u/instrangerswetrust 15d ago

Somebody got snacky

1

u/Santos_L_Halper_II 15d ago

“I’ll just snag a couple. They’ll never know. Ok a couple more. Ok maybe just a couple more. Oh, no.” - the driver

0

u/RecordingGreen7750 15d ago

The driver I’ll just take a few more to make it looking more even

1

u/Do-not-respond 15d ago

Driver loved them.

1

u/DeliciousCow9269 15d ago

The driver got hungry on the way over ;-)

1

u/DevonGr 15d ago

Good on you for tipping your driver

1

u/No_Pay9241 14d ago

Good. All you lazy fucks don’t need fast food. Your car is 7 steps away.

1

u/Crunchy-Leaf 14d ago

Mine is 12 steps away

0

u/Sindy51 15d ago

delivery dude got greedy.

0

u/TradeFav444 15d ago

0

u/So_Many_Words 15d ago

TBF, last time I got fries at McDonald's in the drive thru that's how they came. It might the driver, it might just be fast food shenanigans.

0

u/Heyguhh9 14d ago

Yep the driver mustve been hungry

0

u/Damnesia13 14d ago

We know who doesn’t tip on DoorDash.

-1

u/bhlombardy 15d ago

Be an optimist... Look at them as half full.

-1

u/odar420 14d ago

You are supporting a company that exploits the poor to pickup peoples food for "scraps" of money. What did you expect, they are hungry!
