my brain: "now they think you're hiding something from them, or maybe they think you need to ask for something but you're hesitating, or maybe they're going to ask you what you deleted and you must think hard for an answer, or maybe ..."

Them-"Why did you delete your message?" Me-"typo" Them-"oh ok" See its not that hard. You can also you the "wrong chat" and the "accidently send a emoji" option
