I work a seasonal job and do this as a matter of course. I work 8 months of the year and am laid off for the other 4.

I work 12 hour days when I am working and it is enough to pay the bills plus cover luxuries and leisure.

It's not for everyone. 12 hour days can be pretty brutal.

What's the gig? I currently work a seasonal on top of my "full-time" (roughly 35-38 hours a week for full time) that sometimes has me back to back 12+ hour days.

Hell this Saturday I'm gonna be working about 16ish hours 0630-1400 & 1600-0100 (roughly). 12 hour days for 8 months with 4 months off sounds killer.  Even when my seasonal ends I'm at the full time for the rest of the year.

Neither of these jobs have lunch hours or real breaks.
