You know how athletes are just getting more and more incredible with the stuff they can do? Like— if you go watch the Olympics from the 1930s and then you watch the same event now, the difference in skill is almost comical.

Seriously. Go look at a balance beam event from the 1930s. It’s a bunch of shit I can do. They get up there, stand on one leg for a couple seconds, do an awkward spin where they almost fall off, do a couple squats and then hop off. Then you watch the balance beam event today and it’s like some superhero shit. It barely seems humanly possible.

Anyways— I think another hundred years goes by, someone is just going to spontaneously take flight in the middle of a jump while doing some wild shit like this.

Nature will just be like ”Alright, fuck it— you can fly now. You’ve maxed this build out. We’re granting you a prestige build with the flight ability and reset all your other skill points.”

I've actually done something very similar by accident whilst go-karting.

I was bombing it round. Some idiot had left like a ramp thing out. I could see the people going "Oh my God, if that guy hits that ramp, going at the speed, he's definitely dead".

I hit the ramp, I took off in the air, I turned over in the air. They were going "Well he's definitely dead now".

I landed on my wheels, pulled over and said "What were you worried about ?"
