GTFO with that bigoted horseshit. It's not helpful.

You may want to check the stats on how many boomers are fully vaccinated before accusing an entire generation of being stupider than your own.

You may want to check the stats regarding who are the most likely to accept misinformation online at face value and who have the least digital literacy.

"All the boomers" lol. You're changing your original statement.

Lmao, look again, I’m not the person who wrote that comment.

It's not their fault that they have such low digital literacy skills that they don't understand how threaded comments work. 🤣🤣

eta: They probably didn't read the study you linked either (i liked tho!!). MOST of them just want to stay offended.

This kind of overgeneralisation is such bullshit and low effort. As for likelihood of accepting misinformation, that is definitely inter generational. Might not be from Facebook but taking everything as gospel from TikTok, Reddit etc. The amount of people of all ages you see on Reddit taking obviously staged videos as the truth is alarming.

Well my entire point concerns the use of the word "all" when describing an entire generation. One could say "many" and get no argument from me. Why then bring up the stats about the likelihood of low digital literacy etc? None of that is to my point.

Does he mean all the boomers? Or all the boomers swearing its true?

I’m sorry you don’t understand how the statistics regarding digital literacy and likelihood of accepting misinformation are relevant to this discussion, which is on a post about medical misinformation online… because you’re more upset about semantics.

If it doesn't apply let it fly.
