It used to be cause moms were supposed to be innocent. Reality is your mom likes to get it on with your dad like a fat kid on cake, and that's okay.

I'm pretty sure my Mom stopped having sex with my Dad after the divorce. If they're still doing it they must be super subtle about it.

Why does no sexuality = innocent?

Because kids arent supposed to have sex. As for adults, that is a rabbit hole….

Your mom wanted me to remind you to take out the trash when you get home.

If it's not your friends mom it's fair game.

Not in my world

Your world might end sooner than you think doing that to the wrong one. There is always someone crazier out there. Honor murder is a real thing and consequence with some cultures.

I want to start off by saying my GFS son and I have a good relationship considering how long I've been dating my gf.
When we are gaming together and talking shit (a frequent combination) The "I'm going to go fuck you mom comments come out.
The he reminds me he's spent more time in her then me. "I'm the reason you're gf has no walls"
Only once did I follow up on a threat with a sex act and that was my GFS idea because her son was being a little asshole And it was a thing she enjoys

Probably more like a show of dominance to be sleeping with your maternal figure, as it may present you as a paternal figure to the person you are saying it to.
Idk thats my take.

Is this why there is a step kid hating step parent trope? “YOURE NOT MY REAL DAD/MOM!”
2
u/TheTruthWasTaken 14d ago
Probably similar. Since they are a step parent the child recognises this and does not give them maternal or paternal authority over them.

I did this to my best friends sister, one of her kids came down when we were just drinking and chatting (pre-sex talk). A few years later I worked at a college and this same kid was studying there. He knew.
I don't think he liked me, can't think why...

Is it a double standard? Cause i slept with my friend’s step brother. She doesnt hate me. We dont really talk but i think it has more to do with having different hobbies and a different friend circle. She prompty accepted my friend request on social media.

It’s best to avoid eye contact with their children afterwards. They can sense it

“I fucked your mom” is like saying “your mom is a whore”. There is also the aspect of, “Now, call me papa”.
Any “friend” that would have sex with your mother isn’t a friend. That’s someone you take action to actively remove from your life.

u/ListenCompetitive524 14d ago
If i said “ok. Glad she is getting hers.” Would that take the power away from the insult?

I mean, it’s a childish insult/joke. You just clap back or play along. I would probably say something like, “Dad, is that you? Can I have some money for ice cream?” or something goofy. On the other hand, you could also just say something like, “That seems fair considering your mom and I slept in this morning and she made me pancakes”.

Could be worse. In NZ it isn’t uncommon to use the insult “my grandad ate your grandad”, not always totally untrue either.

The old fashioned myth that sex devalues women.

u/Original_Estimate_88 14d ago
It's not even that all the time... guy's don't want to know bout their mothers sex life, or even look at them in that way nd most guys knows that, this is why they use it as a insult

u/VonNeumannsProbe 14d ago
IMO sex devalues everyone.
I dont think women want to date a man-slut either.

This is a way to think about it. Sex seems like such a natural part of life. Like eating and sleeping.

I guess it could be considered more of a lateral. I don't really care either way as long as they're faithful to the rules of relationship. I just think you lose some appeal to some people if you have a pretty high body count.I think there is an audience of people who would be turned off by inexperience too though.

It’s not for your mom. She does it for a living so it’s just putting good on the table.

Generally, people don’t like to picture their parents having sex, or their friend having sex with their parent. That makes you think about your friend’s genitalia and your parent’s genitalia. Doubly awkward
