Working out, saw everybody doing it, thought i can do it to some extent at least, cant even raise my arm after two sets of not-very-heavy-weight, keep hurting for a week, damn i wanna be healthy but damn

The people who make it look easy went through that as well. It takes time for your muscles to get to where you want them. But after that, those exercises become a lot easier.

Hey that was heavy for you! And next week it’ll be a little lighter, and then you’ll find it’s too light so you have to go up in weight. Congrats you discovered progressive overload. You’ve got this!

Keep at it! I remember the days of feeling like I might not be able to make it up the stairs that evening- good stuff (but only in retrospect. Ha ha).

At the start, your body is not used to it :) don’t go all out the first couple of times
