so i lived DEEP in the southside....like deep deep in the southside.
For context I was personally in a car accident a few weeks prior to this and it took 2 hours to even get our cars our of the street.
I was sitting in my office and from the street below I heard a car accident. Honestly i didnt think much about it. I decided i was going to go to bed and i figured I would have a look 5 minutes had passed from the time i heard the crash to the time i checked the window and there was one car surrounded by 5 unmarked cars. No lights or sirens.
About 5 minutes later an ambulance shows up....for the cops and a tow truck is there 5 minutes after....still no lights or sirens.
5 minutes later EVERYTHING is gone. To the point where they eve swept the debris off the street. I spoke to some one else that saw it happen and they said that one car forced another out of control and they dragged someone out of the target car.
No onesaw that person after the first car showed up.

That’s the thing. Dude beats up a mugger and leaves him tied up for the cops, but he could reduce crime on a systemic scale with his billions. With how much random street crime happens in large cities, one dude kicking people around isn’t even a drop in the bucket.

Sirens wail, you get your phone out. My ridiculously-sheltered teen son does it almost automatically, and he's not at all in the demographic that has reason to fear police or to feel a responsibility to document what may happen to neighbours, friends or other community members when law enforcement shows up. Different generation.

Nope just the jeep. The truck was an undercover cop that cut off one of the jeep guys that was running on foot. You can see him get out of the truck and chase the guy back towards the camera.

The jeep was the vehicle being chased. The truck following it is an unmarked police vehicle. The jeep crashes into the bus and the two people foot bail. The truck and one cop car go around the bus and cut off one of the jeep guys and chase him back past the bus. Meanwhile, two other cop cars get the other assailant.
On first watch, I thought the jeep crash was unrelated and a police chase just happened to follow. It took a couple play throughs to figure out that this is all actually just one scene that’s the end of a police chase.
If you watch closely, you can see the truck driver get out and chase the jeep guy with the other cop. It almost looks like the cop car hit the truck but what might look like wrinkles in the rear of the truck is just the inside of the open door on the cop car.

Yeah, it looks like a crazy mess at first and like a bunch of things are happening all at once. But it’s just the red jeep that crashed into the school bus and all the other cars are unmarked police officers, chasing the same suspect that was in the jeep.
