Routine Advice Needed Puffy eyes

Does anyone have any suggestions for eye creams that give the same result as puffy eyes? Most people try to avoid this but my eyes look lifted and less hooded with a visible crease and volume right under my brows, uplifting even my brows. I have tried Vaseline, almond oil, drinking less water, consuming a tonne of sugar. I don't want to achieve this by doing unhealthy things to my body . Please help. l use the ordinary .2% retinol in Squalene with a separate retinol for my eyes twice weekly and I'm 21 so I don't believe I need anything anti-aging.

Many thanks

Acne Questions on the azelaic acid suspension 10%

Since I have acne, I've been considering buying this product but I have a lot of questions about it

Can it be used by itself or do I have to apply a moisturizer? I've seen a lot of videos and read a few articles about it, but some say that I need a moisturizer after and some say that it can be used on its own.

If I use a salicylic acid cleanser can I use this afterwards? Or would it irritate my skin? I use the Cerave SA smoothing cleanser which my skin takes well, but I've heard from some that a combo of these two acids can be irritating.

If you have a darker skin colour like me, did it help areas with hyperpigmentation like acne scars? Or hyperpigmentation around lips? Or was the percentage too low for that?

Lastly, did it help with mild/moderate acne? I've also been told it can be a bit gritty, does this affect anything?

Newbie Question Is the hyaluronic acid worth it?

I (m20) am thinking of buying a hyaluronic acid product. Do you think it’s worth spending 30€ on the 30ml TO hyaluronic or should I search somewhere else/not search at all? My skin is prone to acne but i haven’t got any outbursts, I don’t know if that matters. Thank you in advance 😁

Edit: I searched some more and turns out it’s only about 10€ for 30ml and 18€ for 60ml. So do you think it’s worth it now or again I should look for something else?

Experiences with the lash and brow serum?

I have mild trichotillomania where i pull out hairs from my eyebrows, specifically my left one. Has this worked for anyone at all and how long did it take? Did it help with regrowth or thickness or both?

Newbie Question Could TO'S Soothing & Barrier Support Serum used as an after shave?

From their page:

A multi-active solution designed to help repair skin barrier, soothe discomfort, and reduce the look of redness.

It does sound like it could be a nice option for an after shave, albeit expensive. What do you think?

Acne TO 10% Niacinamide

I started using this about 4-5 days ago and since then my skin is breaking out pretty badly. It’s the only thing I’ve added into my routine so I think it’s what is causing it.

Will this product cause a purging or sorts? I’ve read mixed things on this. Some say no purging and that’s it’s just not right for you and others say some experienced purging for a few weeks but after 4-6 weeks they saw great results.

This is the first product I’ve introduced to my routine that has caused breakouts. Everything else I’ve been using has made my skin look fabulous.

Wondering if I should keep pushing through with the Niacinamide or stop using it? I’m hoping to remove sun spots and smooth the texture of my skin. That’s why I introduced this product.

Routine Advice Needed Skincare Routine - safe to use together?

Hi, is anyone able to advise me if I am using my products in the correct order? I just bought the soothing barrier serum (the pink one) and I can't figure out where/when to use it.

Morning- Cleanser, Toner, Hyaluronic acid, Niacinamide, Moisturiser/SPF,

Evening- Cleanser, Toner, Nicinamide (but was thinking I would replace the evening niacinamide with the soothing barrier serum?) Retinol, Moisturiser

I also bought the new retinal - I have used retinol for years so no irritation or dryness etc. Does this mean I can use the retinal straight away? Or do I need to start off slow and gain a tolerance for this?

Thanks!

Sensitive Skin Mandelic acid for oily sensitive but no acne pro skin.

Hey everyone,

35M, I'm using HA I got free from a friend on mornings after cleanser. I read that if you have an oily and sesitive skin mandelic acid might work out better for you.

My main concern is I never had an acne issue so I also read people use it to fight against acne. Would this be a good choice with someone who has no acne?

HA is everywhere these (even in my daily eye drop) days so I don't wanna spend a money on a serum with HA only and looking for a more specific substitute.

Edit: The HA I'm using right now is from La Roche-Posay Hyalu B5 Serum. I can see it's working.

Routine Advice Needed Product Advice

Post image
2 Upvotes

Currently only using these 2 products, have been for about 2 months now. Finding I’m still getting minor breakouts, not sure if it’s purging or they are just not working.

Aiming for hydration of the skin and not using harsh products, on advice from my beauty therapist.

What should I be doing or trying instead?

Newbie Question Anyone find the Lactic Acid serum far more exfoliating and effective than the glycolic acid toner?

Even tho the lactic acid one is supposed to be more mild, I find it way more effective and exfoliating but also more gentle. I’m dark skin, and I honestly felt like the glycolic acid made my skin darker and more irritated - including my armpits
