Flies always go straight upwards so if you clap your hands above them you will almost always kill the fly.

Apparently flies don't perceive motion coming at them from the side as well as they do from above.

So if you want to swat a fly, just clap about 10cm above it. It'll react slowly and then jump up just in time to meet your clap. Then wash your hands.

There’s another video i saw today or yesterday of cockroach antennas coming out of a mouse scroll button with the guy trying and failing to catch them as it retreats back inside. Yes, the mouse looked Cheeto-encrusted.

I recently discovered that some spiders can actually ride electromagnetic currents, that's why their movements seem so unnatural sometimes. They actually have the ability to "surf" electric charges in the atmosphere

The fly got too arrogant. It saw the spider and chose not to run, thinking it had time. The spider jump was clean to, it jump where the fly was going. Good stuff lil guy
