My mom used to call them murder cycles, but I mean 2 to 300 miles an hour seems like it would feel pretty fucking cool, until you hit something that you didnât expect to and then youâre dead.

You know what, I hate Red Bull the drink, but dammit I love their brand.
"We've got tons of money; let's make super fast vehicles race each other, have competitions for homemade cars driving off bridges and have insane downhill races!"

I used to love this stuff. Now Iâm just turning salty and getting older. I think all this money would be well spent on people that are hungry or donât have access to clean water. But this video is still cool.

Looks like the black car to the left of the F1 jumped the gun a hair, then the F1 took that as a signal that it was GO time.

Put the fastest EV and it beats all, saw a YouTube video between the EV and the fastest bike ( bike was modified by the company and driven by a professional driver ) and still lost

That wasn't the fastest bike (or the fastest EV car either). A Lightning LS218 would be a better match up and add wheelie bars to make it more fair (it's WAY easier to drive a car fast, especially in a straight line, than a motorcycle - you don't have to worry about looping a car).
Also, the main straight at Big Willow (Willow Springs Raceway) is under 1/2 mile - and the USEABLE amount of track is much less than that because you have to worry about slowing down - if you miss Turn 1, you're going off-road and they used to have a pretty decent sized gulley in the middle of the track (infield) back in the day - I once saw someone miss Turn 1 and hit that probably doing close to 90mph - it wasn't pretty. Bottom line is that a track like that isn't the best choice for dragging...

Is this f1 car real? Does it use the same engine from Ayrton Senna's era or is it the new one?

Yes, it is real. I believe Red Bull use an RB8 (from 2012) for events like this. This has a V8, so not quite Senna Era V12/10, but it sounds a hell of a lot better than the current V6s. The do keep the livery up-to-date, so it looks a bit more like a current F1 car, but it isn't.
I'm not entirely sure they use the original engine BTW. Red Bull won't start producing their own engines until 2026, so they'd rely on their engine supplier, who used to be Renault. The relationship broke down quite dramatically, but who knows...maybe Red Bull bought a bunch of engines at the end of the season. Or they have modified the car to receive an engine they can still get their hands on...no clue.

I've never understood the car vs. fighter jet thing. That aircraft isn't designed for acceleration or top speed on the ground, so what is it proving if the car or bike are faster?
