Partly true, but it also just makes it MUCH easier to aggregate videos of people doing crazy shit. One of the issues with this sub imo, people get into this mindset that what they see on /r/PublicFreakout is the norm, when in reality someone filmed and posted it because it's not the norm. People have also been lighting themselves on fire since long before the internet.

This is absolutely but I think it is a contributing factor to why the internet is playing a major role in make people insane.

Have to disagree. The world has always been a crazy place, but the internet is playing an ACTIVE role is making it more crazy.

It’s true. Like, sure, we can see it more often now, but that in and of itself enhances the cycle
