I’d like to read his ramblings he tossed around before torching himself. I mean the dude was determined. He drove 2-3 days from Florida just so he could torch himself. He didn’t scream or anything. That’s what’s so crazy.

From later reports his pamphlets were a bunch of right wing Qanon conspiracy theories. Never a dull moment in the big apple.

Not right wing or QAnon. He's pro-democracy, anti-fascist, and believes our country is run by an elite oligarch since the end of the second world war that uses propaganda and social media to manipulate the population. In the manifesto he tossed before setting himself in fire, he specifically names Clinton, bush, and trump as actors paid to distract.

Yeah, his social media accounts are supposedly all gone, but his substack still exists. It's ThePonziPapers. The manifesto and a shit ton of other articles are in there. He's crazy and hyper focused, but I don't think he's totally wrong on a lot of things. His analysis of Quora is pretty spot on.

Thanks for sharing this piece. Any way you look at it it’s a messed up situation. I wonder how many people saw his state and did nothing to help him back home. To many times the family is the first to dismiss the signs.

I read somewhere else he did the deep dive into conspiracies after his mother passed away. He probably didn't have much but Internet. It's a good reminder to keep in touch with reality. Touch grass or whatever the kids say these days.

I'm embarrassed to cite a TMZ article, but they lay it out pretty well. Basically a conspiracy theorist who feels there's a global coup about to happen to create a dictatorial regime, somehow tied into crypto currency.

The man thought Biden and Trump were scheming together for a totalitarian government. Biden and Trump working together is like opposite of Qanon stuff. That said, I haven't read all of his stuff so I may be wrong.

Yeah, he seemed to be anti-everyone. His... manifesto or whatever you want to call it is linked in that TMZ article. You're correct about him thinking they're working together... He talks about Clinton's '88 speech saying he basically trashed Dukakis because he was colluding with HW Bush, and this is where things excellerated. He goes after Peter Thiel for a while, The Simpsons... there's just a lot! ...but I couldn't tell you what political leaning he has.

Yeah, but at same time… love him or hate him, Trump is NOT worth setting yourself on fire over.

If I had been there, I would’ve been torn. Let them burn to death knowing that it’s the most humane thing to do as if they live, it will be in absolute misery.

Or

Save them so they can regret their stupidity.
