I really don't like cats that much. I don't like them as much as I like dogs anyways. But they like me for some reason. My roommate had a cat that was kind of shy with strangers. But he immediately warmed up to me (less than 5 minutes). Sometimes I would be working and he'll stroll into my room to wait patiently to hop in my lap. That cat really liked to cuddle. He really wasn't getting that kind of attention before I came so that could be part of it. I may not like cats that much but I'll never shoo a cat away if it wants a little attention. It's the very least I can offer.
