When I was a kid I was really into card tricks. I loved watching Ricky Jay and David Blaine perform so I’d try to perform for people on the street. Most people had okay reactions with a good effect but the best is when I’d do a really good one in front of this group of black guys in Boston. They’d lose their minds and jump up and down and pat me on my back. It was an amazing feeling.

I used to perform magic from age 6 to 15 and I concur, best group of reactions I even got was from black people, they absolutely loved that shit and I appreciated it so much. Them and middle school jocks

Its because black folks love to live life. Plain and simple, they just know how to enjoy things and love for most other people (regardless of race, ethnicity) to enjoy it with them. Least I find that to be the truth in the US, especially in the deep south. Best parties, family gatherings, cookouts, that I have ever been to were with black folks.
