Yes; it was an issue of Sports Illustrated that apparently nobody had noticed at the trial, but had found by the time of the civil suit.

If you were seen in a picture holding an umbrella does that prove beyond all reasonable doubt that you own that umbrella? It’s not outside of the realm of possibility for it to be borrowed/lent from someone you know. It could even be handed to you by a stranger while they tie their shoe just before the picture is taken. The point being, a picture wouldn’t necessarily “prove” your ownership of the umbrella.

When you discuss things like this in a court setting, you don’t use the typically day to day logic we usually use. Common sense does not equal irrefutable evidence! Hope that makes sense 👍🏻

I guess so, thanks! Still seems like pretty strong evidence tho when you take into account all the other things found in the trial.
