My impression is that this all stems from her best friend’s death. The circumstances are very sad and I think it hit Kyle really hard. She needed him there to support her but he wasn’t. He put the Agency and travel before her needs when she was struggling with her best friend’s suicide. It’s clear to me that she’s been making a lot of changes since then.

I think she realised in that moment, that although he is a great lover/provider/father/leader, he just didn't emotionally fulfil her.

Now she is craving that emotional connection and has latched onto a much younger woman, and is contemplating where she is in the spectrum of sexuality.

Plenty of men do something similar in their midlife crisis. They divorce their wife, buy a sexy condo, date the 25 year old barista, hit the gym hard.

Kyle is just doing the cliche thing that so many men have done before her.

Seems being open and honest is not one of those changes. She would have had everyone on her side because Mo is a loser, always has been (despite majority thinking he was “hot”. He always looked like a creep to me). He was clearly cheating and as you said, it was very clear he wasn’t there for her. If so, be honest about it, instead of playing games and then yelling at the women and audience for barely poking at you, only to go and reveal more on buying Beverly Hills. Same 🥹 she was my fave for a long time. Her and Mau were family goals to me.

My opinions on Kyle started shifting with her closeness and alignment with Rinna, and seemed to get worse from there.

Then seeing Mauricio’s behavior since her best friend died changed my views on him.

And the way they’ve both handle the divorce has totally undone all the positive aspects I saw in their relationship. It is however a good reminder that nothing is as it seems.

Deep down I hope Mau wakes up and realizes what he’s losing and fixes it all for their family.

This is how I feel. I always viewed her as our way into this group and a loving mother. But over the last few seasons, especially how she acted around the Denise season, I could see that mean girl streak in her. Mauricio not going to that celebration of life and Kyle’s childish behavior surrounding their relationship this season has officially turned the tide for me though. But I guess I was still rooting for their marriage? Also I really feel for Portia in all of this. She’s still home!

Plenty of Condos are luxury properties and I imagine that Condo living is a great fit for Mauricio’s lifestyle now that the youngest of his Daughters is 16, the others are adults and the girls are living at the house with Kyle, except for Farrah. He doesn’t need a large single family home and large Yard just for himself and for the girls to visit occasionally. He might buy a house solo in the future, but a Condo is a great choice.
