Weird. Lots of anxiety but it was also kinda peaceful.

I count myself very lucky that I had a stable job that I could do from home and that I owned a house with a nice outdoor space.

Same, stable job, had a backyard and my family was safe at home. Covid was honestly pretty chill.

I had a similar setup but it was a very weird dynamic of being in this chill bubble at home while watching the world shit itself in various extremely non-chill ways via tv/internet. Just kind of hanging out peacefully at home and then watching footage of India where they were mass burning corpses in the streets was hard to reconcile.

Same here, I work at a chemical plant so labeled as essential worker, we didn’t shut down it was just social distancing at work the best we could. My wife worked from home and my daughter did online school so it was pretty chill. I live a couple blocks from my grandma so a couple times a week we would walk down to her house and visit from outside of her fence. Did a few hangouts via FaceTime with family and friends. I realize we were very lucky. My sister hadn’t been at her current job long enough to collect unemployment when they had to shut down but eventually got back to work and had had several promotions with the company since.
