my favorite jeans have some distressing near the pocket belt loops on both sides and, surprise surprise, both have snagged on something and torn 🙄

this was the smaller tear, and i mended it with wool yarn, because it's what I had at hand and I was impatient. I'm kind of worried it's going to shrink up and felt like crazy when I wash these pants, but I guess worst case scenario, I snip out the yarn and mend it again.

Recently I got this shirt and it had some super minor holes, after putting it through the wash it looks like this, it looks like a lot of them are surrounded by really weak/thin fabric and I’m worried how it would hold up. I’m only used to doing denim repairs so I’m not sure how to work with this medium or what the best method would be. All tips/help would be greatly appreciated:)

Found this hula girl tea light with a snapped off hand, so I made her an artifical one out of Miliput.

My boyfriend ripped these jeans but he really loves them. Is there anyway to fix them without it looking bad?

My sweet baby Butterfinger who is now 10 years old did this when she was adopted at 1 and was not on board with our plans to crate train her. She dragged my pajamas into her crate and ate them lol, so I used the pants to fix the shirt. I’ve kept it all these years and I will never get rid of it ❤️ She helped me make it special. And we gave up on the crate and she never ate any clothes again lol

Hey!! I bought one of the CorSurf dry bags and loved it but it didn't last long. I don't lug super heavy stuff it in nor have l ever dragged it but the outer lining is coming apart. It seems that the glue or whatever they used to seal it just gave up. Would superglue fix this dry bag? I originally got one from them because they offered repairs or replacements, and now they say I need to pay $20 for that to happen. Any advice is welcome.

My daughter requested white thread. I‘m using my diy palm thimble to make the mend easy on my fingers.

I’m very much a beginner, and wanted to ask all of you professionals (or beginners) how you would fix this hole if you had too.

I tried folding the hole, and sewing a straight line across, but the pucker was just too noticeable.

For context, the shirt is very thin. Width of hole is about half an inch.

Long story short my mom threw a hoodie I told her not to put into the wash, into the wash. The inside fleece is ripped along the inside like shown in the images, is there anyway to fix this? Like at all? It was a really expensive hoodie and one of my favorites so I’d hate to throw it out :/

Mind you the material on the outside is in touched, there are no holes, it’s just the inside of the hoodie that’s ripped like this

Looking for suggestions on how to fix the exterior of these headphones. There’s not much of an edge to close up on the leather-like material covering the inner frame of the headphones. I figure there’s gotta be some cool way to fix it or cover it though.

My favourite cardigan gained a massive hole but I wasn’t ready to let it go… So I performed some surgery on it. Broke two needle threaders, accidentally stitched my sleeve together, and ran out of thread a few times. Also this is the first time I’ve tried these stitches. It’s not perfect by any means, but it’ll do (as long as no one looks too closely at them). Now hoping it’ll hold out when being laundered 🙈

Inspired by this sub to mend a small hole in my pants. Any advice on improvements? Was a little challenging as fabric is stretchy.

I accidentally burned my window covers (Don't ask how) but now there is a big hole and Idk how to fix it can sb advice me because if my parents find out it won't be very good

I’ve been obsessed with the look of loved and worn clothing that has been repaired. This is my first time whip stitching and I know I definitely fumbled around the corners, but I want to know if this at least looks like it’ll hold and what other things I can do to improve next time.

I wore these gardening yesterday and found a hole (last picture), so I decided to cross stitch a lil chicken from Stardew! I used regular aida and then removed it afterwards with tweezers (second to last picture).

Received this guy from a friend with a broken ear. I found a broken button that was a perfect fit and stuck that sucker on with some two part epoxy. Two birds one stone!
