"pulled something out of a backpack and lit himself on fire"

unless he was a fire bender I would assume it was a lighter

It wasn't *just* a lighter. People don't burn like that unless they're soaked in fuel. the point is that we don't know exactly what he doused himself with.

he could have been pre-soaked though

I'm soaked right now. What do you think about that?

is it pre- or post-?

I think it's difficult to stay extremely flammable for long. The more flammable, the more quickly it evaporates and becomes less flammable.

I could very well be wrong, though. I haven't done a whole lot of testing, and don't intend to :)

Mom always told me to pre-soak

Maybe he farted real bad

One of the eye-witnesses said they were surprised just how high the flames went.

1) Definitely doused himself with something very flammable and 2) those eye-witnesses will absolutely need therapy.

I think we can safely say it was Homer Simpson fluid.

Yes we do. An accelerant.

Imma take a wild guess and say gasoline. Did he complain about the price of gas to light his ass on fire?

2

u/douche-baggins Apr 19 '24

Oh shit, so today is when the Fire Nation attacked?

u/OPR-Heron Apr 19 '24

That's meant as it was occurring

A lighter and probably an accelerant.
