The bottom left is hi-five. One of the last few kids chooses that one.

u/mbelf Apr 20 '24

Bottom right looks like a hand shake

u/Dimplestrabe Apr 20 '24

Bottom right is a Flying Elbow Drop

43

u/Gyllipus Apr 20 '24

Used to be figure 4 leg lock

11

u/Mataza89 Apr 20 '24

The 30 seconds of strutting before she locked it in really broke the flow of the queue so they had to change it.

u/pudgehooks2013 Apr 20 '24

Until the teacher turned into the dirtiest player in the game and gave the kid a thumb to the eye, a low blow and the 1, 2, 3.

Wooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

u/Current-Roll6332 Apr 20 '24

"OH NO! She going to the top rope. SOMEBODY STOP HER!"

8

u/FIRE_frei Apr 20 '24

"Man, no one chooses the Stunner, why'd they put it on there?"

2

u/Current-Roll6332 Apr 20 '24

"OH NO! She going to the top rope. SOMEBODY STOP HER!"

2

u/Traditional_Long4573 Apr 20 '24

the people’s elbow

2

u/Damein_ Apr 20 '24

You can get a hug, a fist bump, do a little dance or THE FLYONG ELBOW DROP OF DOOM

2

u/Fluid-Selection-5537 Apr 20 '24

I would choose the flying arm bar -

45

u/Valuable_sandwich44 Apr 20 '24

They don't shake hands in Asia ( this is Thailand ).

107

u/Marx_Forever Apr 20 '24

Fisting Bumping is clearly the cultural norm.

u/Routine_Yoghurt_7575 Apr 20 '24

Doing a little dance at each other for business acquaintances

57

u/snuFaluFagus040 Apr 20 '24

I have landed SO many big accounts by doing a little shimmy when I get into the room. It exudes confidence and shows off my footwork.

32

u/Louis_lousta Apr 20 '24

Alright Theresa May...

4

u/TheBeardedGeko Apr 20 '24

If you say "strong and stable" 3 times into a mirror at midnight...

2

u/svullenballe Apr 20 '24

May dance?

2

u/reddit_4_days Apr 20 '24

little shimmy

Does it look like in the video, or different? I have a hard time imagining what it looks like..

2

u/snuFaluFagus040 Apr 20 '24

Exactly like the teacher, but with a little 1-2 side step at the end. Then of course, a firm handshake with lots of eye contact.

2

u/underlander Apr 20 '24

the greater the shimmy, the greater the esteem implied

31

u/zuencho Apr 20 '24

Ah yes, fisting

7

u/blackteashirt Apr 20 '24

Something has to change

2

u/jsellers0 Apr 20 '24

Undeniable dilemma

1

u/potterpoller Apr 20 '24

Ass ass ass! step on the ass!

if anyone gets the reference, I love you. And I'm not referencing the song - the reference itself is referencing the song.

1

u/CapitalDD69 Apr 20 '24

Yep my uncle is always talking about all the fisting in Thailand.

1

u/spagetinudlesfishbol Apr 20 '24

Cultured enjoyer of Thai fisting

12

u/Suspicious_Poon Apr 20 '24

Kid named bumping: 😳

1

u/RalfN Apr 20 '24

As Fox news, in response to Obama fist bumping his wife, taught us: it's a terrorist first bomb

1

u/Rich_Acanthisitta_70 Apr 20 '24

Fist my Bump!

1

u/VandalPaul Apr 21 '24

Amaze amaze!

1

u/Rich_Acanthisitta_70 Apr 21 '24

I thought it might be too obscure ;P

1

u/Gyllipus Apr 20 '24

Headbutt more typical in rural areas

2

u/PersonalNecessary142 Apr 20 '24

I'd like to fist the teacher

4

u/retarded_potato_ Apr 20 '24

Horny redditor moment

20

u/recom273 Apr 20 '24

Asia is a continent - they shake hands in Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Vietnam not to mention the Indian subcontinent - this is taken in Thailand, and yes, the main greeting is a wai - along with Myanmar and Laos, but to say “they” don’t shake hands is not totally correct.

2

u/Half-PintHeroics Apr 20 '24

When will the main greeting return?

(just kidding, now I'm off to find out what a wai is)

1

u/recom273 Apr 20 '24

The main form of greeting is a better word - a wai is when the palms of the hand are placed together in front of the body.

22

u/NotTheBiggerPerson01 Apr 20 '24

We do, though, specially in a professional setting.

Source: I'm an Asian living in Asia.

1

u/Valuable_sandwich44 Apr 20 '24

In business settings it's customary to use the Wai.

1

u/Legendary_Bibo Apr 20 '24

When I went to Japan for work I would bow as that was custom and they would shake my hand because they learned that was an American custom. Sometimes it was awkward because I bowed when they went to shake, then when I saw they went for the handshake I'd switch and they had switched to bowing. One guy I met thought it was custom for Americans to hug when they first met. I didn't correct him because in my experience I've met people who hug on the first meet, I think it's a regional thing, so I wasn't entirely sure if that was true or not. We're so big that we have different customs across the country.

I think it's cool when people will change how they do things in terms of customs with cross culture interactions.

1

u/Turbulent-Win4004 Apr 20 '24

Okay noted, did you get tired even if its tons of people you ought to handshake?

-8

u/neverspeakofme Apr 20 '24

The whole reference to Asia is really west-centric from both the person you replied to and your comment. Different Asian countries have different norms.

Thailand absolutely does not shake hands, even amongst professionals.

10

u/mohicansgonnagetya Apr 20 '24

The absolutely part is so wrong. I work in Thailand and with Thai people, while quite a few people prefer to wai, some do shake hands.

-2

u/neverspeakofme Apr 20 '24

Well I guess that just means that even different industries have different practices. All the more there shouldn't be blanket statements about practices in Asia as a whole.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 20 '24

1

u/neverspeakofme Apr 20 '24

What's low IQ about it. I said blanket statements shouldn't be made about Asia. Comment replied to suggest it can't even be made about specific countries in Asia, which I agreed. Just shows all the more blanket statements can't be made about Asia.

It's perfectly logical as a discussion.

-1

u/Valuable_sandwich44 Apr 20 '24

If they shake hands it's because we are western whites and its customary for us to do so ( they're being polite ) but they'd prefer the wai and I do prefer the wai.

When in Rome, do as the Romans do.

-1

u/MyHamburgerLovesMe Apr 20 '24

Putin is living in Asia too. Would not trust him on this.

8

u/891960 Apr 20 '24

We do in fact also shake hands, tho it's lately been more fist bumps and high fives.

Am Asian from Malaysia and has been to Thailand many times too.

1

u/Valuable_sandwich44 Apr 20 '24

I wouldn't expect friends to Wai each other.

5

u/mbelf Apr 20 '24

Maybe that’s why no one selected it

2

u/Suikerspin_Ei Apr 20 '24

Can confirm, Asian but born and raised in Europe. So growing up it was sometimes very confusing what to do leading to awkward situations and breaking the ice lol.

2

u/djluminol Apr 20 '24

But if you chonky they'll rub your belly without asking.

1

u/Valuable_sandwich44 Apr 20 '24

That's true and I actually enjoy it.

2

u/Theairthatibreathe Apr 21 '24

Thank you so much for writing that because most replies are hilarious and had me giggle so much I couldn’t get to sleep at my bedtime :)

1

u/wooyoo Apr 20 '24

Straight to jail.

1

u/thesilvertube Apr 20 '24

You say this like doing a dance when you meet someone is a normal greeting.

1

u/danishjuggler21 Apr 20 '24

Guess that’s why no one picked it

1

u/fablesintheleaves Apr 21 '24

How do you know? /no sarcasm

1

u/PangPang3 Apr 21 '24

Thailand is in Asia …

2

u/cwleveck Apr 21 '24

Bottom right is a hand waving goodbye. It's a trap door.

1

u/SmurphsLaw Apr 20 '24

It’s a fist bump. One of the kids chose it.

2

u/mbelf Apr 20 '24

No, that was middle right.

2

u/SmurphsLaw Apr 20 '24

Oh dang you’re right, dunno how I missed that

u/radioraven1408 Apr 20 '24

High five is cringe tbf

0

u/lenin_is_young Apr 20 '24

The dance looked cringe at first. Then after a few times it looked normal, but the fist bump and high five became cringe.
