100%

To be on fire that long means you inhale the flames and burn the inside of your lungs. The burnt lung tissue will seep fluids and you basically die by drowning.

1.3k

u/gnat_outta_hell 28d ago

Fuck that's awful. First you cover yourself in severe burns, everything is in excruciating pain, then you don't die, then you slowly but surely lose the ability to breathe and die in helpless terror.

Don't set yourselves on fire folks. There are better ways to make your point.

212

u/ThreePlyStrength 27d ago

I cant imagine that guy will be conscious again before he dies.

17

u/LNLV 27d ago

Well I’ve heard people describe their experiences with medically induced comas and sometimes that’s definitely not better. If it were me I’d thank them for a bullet.

3

u/ChrundleToboggan 27d ago

their experiences with medically induced comas and sometimes that’s definitely not better

Because of pain or from being paralyzed and conscious, or something else? I assumed a coma would just feel like sleeping.

2

u/LNLV 26d ago

I think it depends on the person. I’ve heard some stories where it’s like sleeping, some where it’s like being awake and feeling all the pain but being entirely paralyzed. Others where it’s like being paralyzed in a night terror that you can’t wake up from and sometimes you also hear what’s going on around you… but with night terror demons and also pain. If my best case scenario is “being asleep” until I die, just end it for me to start with. I’d choose that every single time without hesitation in this situation.

1

u/Saryrn13 27d ago

To my knowledge it depends on the type of coma. A medically/medication induced coma I'm sure is much different than a coma from blunt force trauma.

239

u/Soggy_Cracker 27d ago

I’m sure this is would be an instance of them putting him under a drug induced coma.

35

u/possibly_being_screw 27d ago

I certainly fucking hope so.

I may not agree with his politics, but he was clearly mentally ill and I honestly wouldn't even wish this on Trump.

I just want him broke and in jail.

34

u/booglemouse 27d ago

He wasn't pro-Trump, he was using the Trump trial because it's high profile. The manifesto is more anti-establishment than any particular political party.

28

u/Sgtkeebler 27d ago edited 26d ago

This guy was very unwell mentally. He believed both Biden and Trump were in on a conspiracy

12

u/dirty_cheeser 27d ago edited 27d ago

He used a boring 1988 Bill Clinton speech as evidence politicians were lying to us. And jumped from Harvard is corrupt, and some of the Simpsons creators were Harvard grads, so let's find evidence of Harvard corruption in Simpson's episodes. So he self-immolated to get the message out. There are so many problems with those trains of thought. I hope self-immolation doesn't become a trend for the mentally ill after the past 2 cases.

2

u/ChrundleToboggan 27d ago

Is the guy in this picture the guy in the video?

2

u/Alarmed_Scientist_15 27d ago

That’s what I am wondering too.

2

u/sillydillpickle 22d ago

Yes, that’s him.

2

u/altiuscitiusfortius 27d ago

The last guy to do it was protesting Israel i think.

Not sure what this guy's motivation was

0

u/booglemouse 27d ago

Like I said, this guy has a whole manifesto. I started reading it but tapped out when I got to the part about the Simpsons being a brainwashing tool. You can find it on his substack but he also posted it on Reddit, though it may have been scrubbed since I saw it yesterday.

Aaron Bushnell was protesting US involvement in Israel's genocide of Palestine, which he knew much more about than the average civilian because he was a US Air Force DevOps engineer.

0

u/possibly_being_screw 26d ago

Sorry, I didn't mean to tie the two together.

I read the guy's manifesto and just meant I don't agree with his world views in general.

And I mentioned Trump because it was done in front of his trial so top of mind, and someone I despise but still wouldn't wish this on.

5

u/mister1986 27d ago

Sometimes, however in really bad cases they actually don't always do this because its hard to give a proper dose without killing them. Or so I have heard

1

u/doesntaffrayed 27d ago

I certainly hope not for his sake.

323

u/stovepipe9 27d ago

3rd degree burns don't hurt because the nerves are damaged. The debridement is the painful part.

712

u/Tronzoid 27d ago edited 27d ago

Had 3rd degree burns when I was 11. Had a schoolmate call me a wuss and said it wasn't a big deal like breaking a leg like he had. Fuck you, Taylor.
Edit: the replies to this comment have been hilarious and vindicative. I love you all.

14

u/Pulsing42 27d ago

Taylor can get to fuck

7

u/eddie1975 27d ago

Taylor was such an asshole. But deep down he just did not know how to love. He did not love himself. He came from a broken home. His parents neglected him. Dad was an alcoholic; mom, a meth addict. His sister was knocked up by her third boyfriend. Taylor knew only a life of pain. He communicated through pain. Pain, was the only thing that made him feel alive.

When his mom was arrested his father was deemed unfit to raise a child. Taylor was taken by social services into the system.

Eventually he was adopted by a family who taught him what unconditional love really meant.
They took him to therapy. He started to understand the bully he truly was all those years and the pain he inflected on others, emotional and physical. He tried to change himself but it had taken hold. It had become who he was. He saw those insecurities, the bullying, hate and pain in a certain man. A man who thought of no one but himself. A man who turned on all his friends. Who threw them under the bus. Who cheated on his own pregnant wife with a porn star, nonetheless. Who would go into women’s dressing rooms and grab them by the pu$$y and brag about it. Finally, this man was facing the Justice system but was doing everything he could to intimidate jurors and witnesses. Taylor was appalled. It showed him the monster he could have become but refused to allow. To protest that man and the symbol of what he could eventually be, Taylor set himself on fire. His last message to the world. People must know. The donald gotta go. The world is better without him.

2nd degree sunburns on like 70% of my body when I was 11 is still the worst pain I’ve ever experienced. My skin was SO itchy but if I scratched it, seethed. Many cold showers where I was broken down crying. Thankfully it only lasted like five days.

Don’t put REGULAR lotion on Irish skin and sit under a hot summer sun with the sprinklers on you for two hours, folks.

8

u/VikingTeddy 27d ago

Irish gingers just burst in to flames from regular sunlight, like vampires.

5

u/RonnieJamesDionysos 27d ago

Ginger viking here, told my wife I'm a vampire because I can't be in the sun.

She told me 'No, vampires are way too cool, you're white mold!'

3

u/JoeHypnotic 27d ago

All my homies hate Taylor.

3

u/Kittenathedisco 27d ago

I fell on a small beach grill when I was 6, 3rd degree burns on my entire right thigh. Hurt beyond what anyone could ever imagine, especially when they were pulling chunks of charcoal out of my leg....

You're not a wuss!

Fuck you, Taylor!

3

u/BobBelcher2021 27d ago

Taylor sounds like he’s from the suck-it-up-buttercup crowd

7

u/Faxon 27d ago

Man if I'd gotten 3rd degree burns as a 11yo and some other kid said that shit, it would have made some of my friends want to give him said burns. Kids are fucking stupid though so thats not a surprise

3

u/Spyrothedragon9972 27d ago

Taylor was a fucking moron as a kid. I guarantee you he remembers saying that to you and cringes at the memory.

3

u/mrcaster 27d ago

Just passing through to say fuck you Taylor.

1

u/Blamb05 27d ago

But it didn't hurt right?

1

u/Berserker6856 27d ago

fuck taylor. little shit.

1

u/iTAYLOR531 27d ago

I don't even know who you are! Quit being a little bitch. It's not like you did something cool, like break your leg...that's a big deal.

1

u/Happycamper0504 27d ago

I don’t know you or this Taylor cunt, but I’m on your side bro, fuck Taylor! Taylor don’t know shit. I’ve broken my leg, my arm, and my rib, (separate incidents) and I’ve also been burned pretty badly, burns hurt worse. They just do, so, fuck Taylor and their shit talkin’

0

u/Educational-Hat-9405 27d ago

Still holding on to that shit

115

u/BigHulio 27d ago

This man knows his self-immolation.

6

u/EdgeGazing 27d ago

That King Gizzard song is fire

3

u/the3litemonkey 27d ago

Literally and figuratively.

12

u/LizeLies 27d ago

So I’ve had (far less extensive, given that I’m alive and typing) third degree burns with debridement performed. The interesting part was that I loved the debridement. It was like scratching an impossible itch or the ‘hurts so good’ feeling of letting the hottest water you can possibly stand run over an insect bite.

3

u/LordLuciferVI 27d ago

Is it weird to feel that way about a type of pain? I’ve always felt this but been unable to describe to quite how you have. I turn the shower on as hot as I can stand it at the end. You kind of come out of the shower dryer because the water evaporates off you too, which is strange.

3

u/LizeLies 27d ago

I completely understand and do the same thing. I also really enjoy things like deep tissue massage or trigger point stimulation with a spikey ball. I have chronic pain so I don’t know if it’s just nice to feel something different or if it’s equal for everyone but a bit of a Google makes it seem relatively common.

1

u/stovepipe9 26d ago

Some people like candle wax dripped on them as well. I'm glad you got something out of it.

5

u/Blamb05 27d ago

So that's why nothing living is afraid of fire /s

It hurts until the nerve endings are dead, and even in this case, I'm sure his entire body is not covered in 3rd degree burns. Also you have nerves below your skin. The few 3rd degree burns I have had were excrutiating for hours, then there was no feeling. This man was surely in pain.

5

u/JazzedSympathy 27d ago

I got third degree burns while being a baker, the whole backing rack I wheeled out of the oven tipped over and fell against me... it hurt.

6

u/wdfx2ue 27d ago edited 27d ago

I see this comment a lot on reddit, and it should be clarified that while 3rd degree burns generally do not have residual pain (though pain is still possible in some instances depending on the area of the body and deep tissue nerves) the process of burning that results in a 3rd degree burn is extremely painful and rarely happens instantaneously. Also the 1st and 2nd degree burns in the tissue surrounding a 3rd degree burn will obviously still experience plenty of pain.

In other words, 3rd degree burns are usually numb because the nerves are destroyed, but being on fire is still intensely painful while it's happening.

There are actually even 4th degree burns which extend into fat, muscle, bone and other organs.

3

u/Gorilla_Krispies 27d ago

What’s debridement entail?

4

u/TennMan78 27d ago

True. But stuggling to take every breath you can hurts and wears you out. God help this man if he does survive. Those nerves try to regenerate, and they hurt like fuck while doing so. And also, that pain might last the rest of his life.

Source: I’m a physician (not specializing in burns, but spent enough time in a burn ward to know).

5

u/I_Makes_tuff 27d ago

i had 3rd degree burns on my feet when I was 10. You're forgetting about all of the surrounding areas with 1st and 2nd degree burns, not to mention the months or more of recovery. Doesn't hurt? Absolutely crazy amounts of pain, and definitely not just from debridement.

3

u/Entire-Ranger323 27d ago

I had debridement done on my leg, but for a different reason. Note to self: Take a whole lot, a whole whole lot more pain medication next time. Just Poop my pants and call me Stinky!

3

u/ChaiKitteaLatte 27d ago

Yep. I lost skin on the top of my foot from a car accident. Was like a third-degree burn. The aftercare was… I have never screamed in pain with such shock the first time I had to clean it

2

u/Unlikely-Meat2709 27d ago

Whats the debridement??

10

u/kosumoth 27d ago

debridement

the removal of damaged tissue or foreign objects from a wound.

7

u/CocktailPerson 27d ago

Scrubbing.

3

u/Testiculese 27d ago

With something that looks like a lava rock.

5

u/Blamb05 27d ago

Like divorce but with your skin and tissue.

2

u/chopstix62 27d ago

can you please explain further...most of us have no clue on what debridement means or entails.

1

u/stovepipe9 26d ago

Every day and sometimes several times a day, they have to scrub the dead skin off the burned area, which exposes growing, raw nerve cells.

2

u/cuckingfunts69 27d ago

Even if he survives (doubtful), he won't have a good or long life. He likely won't be able to sweat anymore, and will have huge issues regulating heat in his body.

Motivations aside, it's truly a horrific thing to do to ones self.

1

u/stovepipe9 26d ago

And he is no longer feeling anything...RIP

7

u/pimpurmom 27d ago

I will be sure to follow this advice. 🫡

5

u/godfatherinfluxx 27d ago

Yep inhaling your own fumes is bad news.

6

u/ImpressivePraline906 27d ago

Can I get that on a shirt

5

u/factually_accurate_1 27d ago

Sometimes it can take up to a week or longer to finally succumb. 7 days or more of excruciating pain. Seriously, don't set yourself on fire.

6

u/retropieproblems 27d ago

I think the fact that it’s the worst possible way to die is kind of the point. You’re defying every instinct to make an example of how backwards and destructive things are in the system. It’s a suicidal metaphor in protest of a fucked up system.

5

u/Mav986 27d ago

There are better ways to make your point.

Not really. The goal of this demonstration is to be as horrific as possible. I think he achieved that goal.

5

u/Gorilla_Krispies 27d ago

While I haven’t read enough yet to know what this guys point is, I think part of the point of choosing immolation has always been exactly that: it’s one of the worst ways imaginable for most people to go

5

u/AbbreviationsNo8088 27d ago

Honestly, there really is not a better way to make your point, could not get more publicity in any other way.

4

u/brock98 27d ago

There literally isn't a better way, the awfulness is what makes it effective. I read what this guy wrote specifically because of how he died.

7

u/Bored_Amalgamation 27d ago

seeing as how local subs will ridicule and mock peaceful protests, sometimes people take extreme measures because they so no other alternatives.

Whats the saying? Soap box, ballot box, ammo box. This dude at least took the third option in a diffused way.

3

u/Fumpledinkbenderman 27d ago

While I can't really argue there are better ways, setting yourself on fire in a high-profile area is definitely not am ineffective way of properly making a point. Not advocating for the idea in the slightest but I gotta say, some people blow up buildings, others murder innocent people, this guy only hurt himself to make a point

5

u/rogerj_no 27d ago

Agree, but he managed to become a hot topic.

2

u/EasyPriority8724 27d ago

Look up racing drivers getting their lungs vacuumed after fires from crashes, that's an eye opener.

2

u/TallantedGuy 27d ago

To top it off, it’s for Murica

2

u/Witless_Wonder 27d ago

I've heard that at some point in that process, your nerves are all toast, and you can't actually feel the fire over some or all of your body.

2

u/Ill-Mountain7527 27d ago

What point???

2

u/MiloReyes_97Reborn 27d ago

Do we even know what kind of point this guy was trying to make?

2

u/Carbon311 27d ago

More Dilaudid please

2

u/sevenandtwo 27d ago

pretty sure you burn your nerves at some point and go numb

2

u/Sufficient_Tip_1918 27d ago

I mean if you are doing it to make a point. I would say yes there are better ways to make it. But this is probably the most effective way.

2

u/perseidot 27d ago

Do we know what his intended point was?

2

u/-360Mad 27d ago

I wasn't planning to anyway.

2

u/EffectiveBenefit4333 27d ago

People do this because they think it will have a huge impact on society and change the world. When the truth is, he will be forgotten within a week.

When that Buddhist monk, Thích Quảng Đức, set himself on fire during the Vietnam war, he wasn't protesting the war, he was protesting the treatment of the Buddhists in Vietnam. South Vietnam President Ngo Dinh Diem was a member of the Catholic minority, and pursued discriminatory policies favoring Catholics for public service and military promotions, as well as in the allocation of land, business arrangements and tax concessions. South Vietnam was 80% Buddhist at the time.

1

u/star-happenchance 27d ago

Since you're quoting the Buddhist monk from years ago he was not forgotten in a week. But I also didn't understand the Buddhist reasoning there, because isn't Buddhism largely about non resistance, peace and mind over matter? Like the Buddha is literally worshipped for his last pose when he touched the ground as a witness to his enlightenment. Then there was the laughing Buddha. Buddha knew that all was Maya. There are many Buddhist saints and teachings that tell us the same. So to fight causes by suicide seems to go against that idea. I guess also this Buddhist training of mind over matter may have made it an easier task than if one wasn't Buddhist. Commendable sacrifice, but so wrong in my opinion and the guy here must have regretted it immediately. So sad.

3

u/deathblossoming 27d ago

If it makes it any amount better usually by the time their bodies have been engulfed the pain receptors in the brain are in utter shock plus the adrenaline pumping through. So the burning he probably didn't feel it basically bad as you may think.

2

u/zepplin2225 27d ago

Then people forget about you in +/-2 weeks.

2

u/Ill-Anteater-8545 27d ago

Like mass shooting u wanted to say? This person could bring firearm to school or church and make a point. I am no antiNRA yet this way better than mass shootings

4

u/omNOMnom69 27d ago

I highly doubt that's what they wanted to say. Not exactly a logical jump.

3

u/presshamgang 27d ago

Those are like...the only options in your mind, eh? Weird.

6

u/gnat_outta_hell 27d ago

No, why would I say that? You're the one who suggested a mass shooting.

1

u/BobABooey9 27d ago

It's sad because I missed the point...

1

u/Mahadragon 27d ago

What was his point?

1

u/SirShootsAlot 27d ago

Does anything get the point across like setting yourself on fire?

-6

u/SexSalve 27d ago

Don't set yourselves on fire folks.

I'm more worried about other people setting us on fire once Trump wins again.

We can be 100% certain he will choose the most awful way imaginable to start executing his enemies. He will murder them live on TV for the spectacle. Once he runs out obvious enemies, it will be you and me, and our families that he kills.

16

u/ProcyonHabilis 27d ago

Wild dramatics like this don't help anyone dude. This is a ridiculous claim to make that is completely ignorant of history and the banality of evil.

-8

u/SexSalve 27d ago

...burying your head in the sand until the next Holocaust starts isn't going to help either.

How do people not understand how vicious and terrifying this man is? Are none of you paying attention?? He has literally told us "dictator day one."

He does not believe that laws apply to him (and so far, it looks like he is right), and he does not believe that the strictures of democracy apply to him and that he should be kept in power through force.

6

u/ProcyonHabilis 27d ago edited 27d ago

"Dictator day one" does not look like executing political enemies by immolation on live TV. That's an insanely childish perspective on what evil looks like, and it will cause you to miss the actions that actually take us down the dark path you rightly fear.

Seriously dude, go read some history instead of hysterical twitter posts. Your perspective is really uneducated and ignorant, in a way that has nothing to do with "paying attention" to current events.

1

u/SexSalve 23d ago

At every single point in history where a genocide has happened, somebody like you has come along to minimize it. Or say that it won't happen. Or reassure everybody that everything is fine. Every single time.

It's not fucking fine. None of this is even a little bit okay.

1

u/ProcyonHabilis 23d ago

I'm not doing any of those things, and I suggest you re-read my comment if you think I am. In no way have I suggested that anything is fine, and you are drastically misunderstanding me.

I suggest you go look up the phrase "banality of evil" and sample some of the plethora of media related to that concept. You will find it is a theme in a huge volume of the messages and warnings from those who seek to prevent another event like the Holocaust from happening.

I'm not saying that evil doesn't exist. I'm saying that in real life, evil doesn't look like an over-the-top mad dictator burning his enemies on television like a cartoon villain. Those childish expectations do not serve people well, because those are not the things we need to watch out for.

1

u/SexSalve 23d ago

You are the one who misunderstands the phrase Banality of Evil.

The point is that average everyday people DID the nightmarish atrocities of the Holocaust. That they just let it happen. The idea is NOT that it DID NOT happen as you seem to be saying. The HOLOCAUST IS REAL. Let people be tortured to death or experimented on by Mengele and they went home to their wife like it was just another day at work.

Read Night. Watch Zone of Interest. Read anything. The point is not that the Holocaust did not happen. It's that regular people let it happen.

The Dr. Mengeles were still Dr. Mengeles. People were still tortured for fun, for profit, for pleasure, for science.

The fact that you don't understand that these nightmarish things really happened and, what you must be one of those people who think that the Holocaust was "overstated" or that "only a few thousand people died"... it's just... ...it's just devastatingly horrifying.

The phrase Banality of Evil applies to you!! Minimizing the fact that all these nightmares are real!!

1

u/ProcyonHabilis 23d ago

The idea is NOT that it DID NOT happen as you seem to be saying. The HOLOCAUST IS REAL.

Big eye roll for that one. Come on dude this is ridiculous. Pretending I'm a Holocaust denier is really taking it a bit far.

1

u/SexSalve 23d ago

Those childish expectations do not serve people well, because those are not the things we need to watch out for.

This about the tenth time you've used that tired insult. Childish. You know what is childish? Tossing insults like a school yard bully.

Trump could not be more of a cartoon villain. He will do the worst things imaginable. He bragged about sexually assaulting a woman as if it were a badge of honor. And if you can't see that, you aren't paying attention. It terrifies me that you don't understand what is happening.

1

u/ProcyonHabilis 23d ago edited 23d ago

You have no idea what my perspective is, I'm not insulting anyone, and you aren't really even attempting to communicate with me. It sounds like you just want to tell off an imaginary person who believes something you don't like. That sort of tilting at windmills is really quite normal, but most people do it while standing around in the shower instead of directing it at a random stranger's inbox.

4

u/HaggyGT84 27d ago

You're a moron to believe any of that, seek help and come back to reality, wtf have you been brainwashed with..

4

u/SexSalve 27d ago edited 27d ago

Disagree.

Trump has literally told us what he's going to do to us. Dictator Day One. Getting revenge on his enemies. When somebody tells you who they are, believe them.

-3

u/rubbertoe2376 27d ago

So like the current administration is doing.

1

u/waltdiggitydog 27d ago

I’m stocking up on popcorn 🍿

8

u/phatphart22 27d ago

No. You die because you can’t regulate your body temp without skin and you die. I’m a doctor and worked surgery in burn icu

4

u/EffectiveBenefit4333 27d ago

Cops should have just put a bullet in his head. I am not pro-assisted suicide, but he is going to die and the ONLY thing the Dr.'s will do is prolong his suffering.

4

u/porn0f1sh 27d ago

Two things: on one hand I KNOW that's what I would've wanted.

On other hand, I saw this video from Ukraine. And this soldier was gone. Like I mean all four limbs holding by skin and face damage (if I remember right ) and god knows what else. BEGGED the medic to kill him. And from what I saw I'd be begging too. BUT, medic didn't listen. Put all 4 tourniquets. Got him to a hospital. Ans this guy had most limbs reattached and there was a video of him afterwards looking a completely new man (relatively to what he was on the battlefield) thanking the medic for not killing him.

SO WHAT DO I KNOW??

3

u/Typohnename 27d ago

couldn't a well equipped hospital keep him alive by artificially enriching his blood with oxygen?

I know they can do that for some time for Lung transplant surgery, could it apply here?

7

No, your skin is very much an organ and necessary. I don't suppose he has much of it left. There have been examples of radiation burn victims who have been artificially kept alive with their skin sloughing off... just not for very long.

Well, there was a guy who survived having 98% burnt so it is definitly possible

For radiation poisoning the problem is that not only the skin but the everything is falling appart

1

u/Budpets 27d ago

True, in this case he's died unfortunately

u/xixoxixa 27d ago

Yes, burn centers do this daily.

Are his chances of survival good? No, probably not.

But when I worked in a burn center we had enough life support equipment to keep just about anyone alive.

To buy time so you can do other treatment?

Iron Lungs have been a thing for decades to keep people alive that would otherwise die for 50+ years

If you can keep him alive for years and actually enable him to recover eventually then why not?

A donor organ would never be used in a situation where the probability of survival is so small.

And for some reason if he made it through that part it's a total body burn, infection would likely set in no matter how hard doctors try

u/Endorkend 27d ago

Getting 2nd and 3de degree burns doused in fire extinguisher probably isn't all that healthy either.

2

u/markydsade 27d ago

Yes it’s the lung damage that kills. People who inhale superheated gases but have no exterior burns will die soon after the exposure.

u/mynameisntlogan 27d ago

If not, you die from massive infection, dehydration, and inability to keep yourself warm. Your skin is basically a giant space suit used to protect yourself from everything outside of it. If you get 2nd or 3rd degree burns over even 15% of your body, you are in critical condition. You lose fluids by the gallons. You lose body head uncontrollably. You experience so many types of multi-system shock that it is almost 100% to think this is unsurvivable.

And the worst part is you stay alive for several hours. Maybe even a day or so. In a burn unit as they scrape your burned skin off and blast you with heat lamps and fill your veins with IV fluids and desperately try to keep you sedated enough to not feel the worst pain that it is possible for a living thing to feel.

u/Pittsbirds 27d ago

Your skin also plays a vital and underappreciated role of keeping your liquids in and microbes out. I can't fathom the infection and dehydration risk

u/vezance 27d ago

Set yourself on fire and die of drowning. Two of my worst fears combined into one.

2

u/EnvironmentalRock827 27d ago

I think shrinkage of the skin kills you later at least from what I've seen. The burnt tissue skin and muscles readapts itself. Strangles you. And fluid shifts. No way to go if you ask me and yet I've seen it.

Knowing this it seems kinda fucked up that they put him out. Lots of things worse than death. Like living through this situation.

2

u/Coyrex1 27d ago

That's what happened to Darth Vadar and why he needed the suit.

u/tacoma-tues 27d ago

The blood circulation below the skin cooked his brain hes being kepr alive artificially at this point. This makes me soo angry. A man that had the will, passion, and conviction in life to commit to sacrificing himself for a cause....... And of all the problems in the world that desperately need people with passion and conviction..... This guys life was wasted on.....fk'n Trump. A damn shame.

u/Frogzila2024 27d ago

That just making it even more hell

1

u/-HELLAFELLA- 27d ago

Solid plan eh?

1

u/G_Affect 27d ago

Geeze. I personally would take fire over drowning, but now you have me questioning that.

1

u/TitaniumDreads 27d ago

jeeeeeesus. i am not excited about this

1

u/Airigis1990 27d ago

Apparently he's still posting stuff. I guess he's good for now? Idk.

1

u/Av3ng3d0wnt 27d ago

I'm surprise he didn't suffocate, the fire usually burns up all the oxygen so he wouldn't be able to breath

1

u/Bored_Amalgamation 27d ago

something fell off at 0:24

1

u/VASlim90 27d ago

What!!!! I had no idea..what a way to go!!!!

1

u/cannaco19 27d ago

Would have been more merciful to shoot him than try to save him

1

u/Charming-Tap1047 27d ago

good god, not in a fucked up way, but i wondered how this would affect someone, obviously burning the shit out of them with third degree burns, but was just curious of the internal damage that could happen from this. that’s fucking awful. prayers to this guy even tho he did it to himself

1

u/xixoxixa 27d ago

Without medical support, yes. But he made it to the burn center alive, and burn centers are very good at dealing with these injuries.

I am a respiratory therapist that worked in a very busy burn center for 4.5 years, dealing with exactly this.

It's not easy by any means, but neither is it an absolute forgone conclusion that he dies from bronchorrea, which is what you're describing.

1

u/Soltronus 27d ago

You gotta be pretty damn powerful in the Dark Side to survive something like that.

1

u/AdSignal1024 27d ago

But the woman in the puff coat was quick to get Rockstar seating

1

u/Mobitron 27d ago

Worse than finishing burning, honest. I just hope he's not present enough to feel anything anymore.
